Publisher's Summary

In the college town of Morganville, vampires and humans have learned to live in relative peace. Still, students like Claire Danvers know that after dark, studying can take a backseat to staying alive. But the tenuous good-neighbor policy is really turned on its head with the arrival of Mr. Bishop. Bad to the bone, the ancient old-school vampire cares nothing about harmony. Staying at the top of the food chain is enough. What he wants from the town's living and dead is unthinkably sinister. It's only at a formal ball attended by vampires and their human dates that Claire realizes Bishop's plan---and the elaborately evil trap he's set for the warm-blooded souls of Morganville.

If interested in vamp stories it's an unique twist

Would you try another book from Rachel Caine and/or Cynthia Holloway?

Yes. I have to admit though that because I had just finished two other vampire series books where the vampires were essentially good, it was tough to adjust to a series where they treated humans so poorly.

What other book might you compare Feast of Fools to and why?

I would only compare to other books on the series.

Which scene was your favorite?

Bishops welcome party

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

It would need to have content from more than one book on the series, but yes.

Any additional comments?

It would be nice of the books number in the series was on the title. There seemed to be inconsistencies at times but nothing to make me put it down .

Disappointing

If you read the first two books in this series, you might want to do yourself a favor and just stop there. This book was not only dull, with full chapters devoted to small, unnecessarily detailed events, it was also lazily written, with lame plot lines and boring characters. I've liked Rachel Caine's book in the past, but this one lacked her wit and obvious interest in science as well as human motivations that made her other books fun.
