Publisher's summary

Guardians of the Galaxy meets The Hobbit in this rollicking fantasy adventure series.

The Dragons who once ruled over the land are dead.

The members of the motley crew that stumbled through that revolution are rich and praised as saviors.

Everyone gets to live happily ever after, right?

Right?

Well, it might have worked out that way if the dragons in Kondorra had been the only ones. If they hadn't been just the tip of the spear about to fall upon the whole world....

Fantastic Fantasy

Amazing, so well done! Hollins has crafted a truly unique band of characters you’ll both love and hate. Superb

smmmmmmiiiiiiiiite! lol

this book is as good as the first one it may be a little less funny then the first book but I think the action makes up for that I think a lot of people would probably disagree with me but I get shades of Douglas Adams in the way he writes Balur is being one of my favorite characters in a long time lol one thing that goes against my grain is will not his character but how the other characters strong-armed him into making all the plans and then crap on him regardless of what happens especially with Letty he's like dude you're pretty much treat me like crap for I don't know how much time has elapsed over these two books but that entire time unless she wants laid I get it you don't love me I'm over it and she gets her feelings hurt over that which is like complete BS I really do hope that audible comes out with the third book sometime I would definitely recommend both the first and the second book to anyone that likes Adventure comedy

A Little More Serious

The second book in the series has a little more seriousness to it that the first did. However, it is still hilarious! The performance is awesome! I can't wait for the next book!

By Barth this book is good.

Return to the most dysfunctional but lucky D&D groups ever in this novel.

By Barth the drunken God if you don't enjoy this book after reading / listening to Fools Gold then not even Coise could charm you.

They up the antics from the original, and the voice actor makes the story a joy to listen to.

Almost as good.

While the first book had sections where I was wanting the dialogue to lesson, I found d there were scenes in here that were bathed in dialogue . I even caught myself rolling my eyes and saying "come on." The plot is still fun and unique and I am someone who believes plot is king.
The narrator was definently hard for me to get used to, primarily the accent, but he does a great job with the emotions and voices for each character.

Dragons, Sex, and Violence

Loved it, the readers voice added a lot to the listening of the story.

Bring on volume 3 PLEASE!!!

There are only 3 complaints that I have while reading this book:

1. I should have known NOT to listen in public. People tend to think you are a loon when you sit somewhere alone laughing or smiling to yourself. (It does help you have a table to yourself though)

2. I wish audible put some kind of profanity warning and mild lewd humor warning on it so that people can stop complaining about these things. 🙄 But my guess is that if you are reading volume 2, it didn’t stop you from reading or you are like me and didn’t care.

3. The conclusion to this series is not on audible! 😤 it’s written, but it is not on audible! 🤬
I liked this series so much that I may be forced to buy the gods hexed ebook and actually ::shudders:: turn pages and read.

Was this book worth the read and the credit? A million times yes. A zillion gold bulls, yes. This will definitely get a reread from me.

Bad story, bad language & worse dialogue..

Please heaven save me from Book number 3. I only hung in with this with high hopes the story would get better. It just got cheesier & the foul language would have been better heard from junior high 14 year old male juvenile delinquence! SMH...My biggest wish would be that I'd regain my 2 credits used on this author.
