Publisher's Summary

Eric is the Discworld's only demonology hacker. Pity he's not very good at it. All he wants is his three wishes granted. Nothing fancy: to be immortal, to rule the world, and have the most beautiful woman in the world fall madly in love with him. The usual stuff. But instead of a tractable demon, Eric calls up Rincewind, the most incompetent wizard in the universe, and his extremely intractable and hostile travel accessory, the Luggage. With them on his side, Eric's in for a ride through space and time that is bound to make him wish (quite fervently) that he'd never been born.

disc world at its best.

for fans of disc world, can get no better. a ironic and fantastical prachett approach to faust. Rincewind at his peak, unfortunately I feel he gets tired and overused after this book. Eric is great, again exploiting the funny literal in a teenager with power. and the only book with the creator. One of the few with chapters, even though not explicitly said, feels likes coherent short stories. very, very, good.

Eric discworld

In Eric, I found that I couldn't quite follow the begging but despite this I really enjoyed the rest and I think it was read very well.

I would recommend this to a friend as I know I really enjoyed it and most of my friends like many of the sort of things I do.
