Excerpt: Falling in love with an angel is like falling in love with a supernova. It's as cosmic as it is unrealistic. You can be physically shaken by its splendor, or so wholly debased by your own sense of awe that you weep to think it's anything but a dream. You can tell yourself that simply being aware of it means something profound, something real. You can rationalize it all you want. But in the end, you're bound to learn that this celestial body can never love you back. Not the way you need it to.

Awesome combination of Fantasy and Love story
What did you love best about Earthwalker?
The story was riveting I had trouble putting it down once I started listening to it! The character development was very well done. The performance on this audiobook was first rate and high quality.
What did you like best about this story?
The synthesis of romance and fantasy was superb. Not my usual genre but I really enjoyed this one. Lexa Clarke is a great writer who has a smooth style that makes this an easy read.
Which character – as performed by Meral Mathews – was your favorite?
I thought that character of Declan Holmes was very well done. A female character that is believable and not annoying is difficult for a male voice to accomplish and this one was great.

The section where the relationship between Declan and the Earth walker was developed was particularly moving due to the great development and character sketches amde you care deeply about them.

Not your average story
If for no other reason, I like this book because it doesn't have the standard fare of mythological creatures. I also enjoyed this book because of the character development, story pacing, and the author's insight as to how love blooms over time, and what love drives people to do.
The narration was well done. The voice was rich and comfortable, with good accent control.
