Warning: May contain Egyptian gods, werewolves, power armor, and a world-ending apocalypse
A pyramid predating all known cultures appears without warning. Its discovery throws into question everything we know about the origins of mankind.
Inside lies incredible technology, proof of a culture far more advanced than our own. Something dark lurks within, eager to resume a war as old as mankind. When it is unleashed, it heralds the end of our species' reign.
A plague of werewolves spreads across the world. A sunspot larger than anything in recorded history begins to grow. Yet both pale in comparison to the true threat, the evil the werewolves were created to fight.

You want fun? You got fun! Because...werewolves!
I love the theme of werewolves and zombies. Also, I'm an avid player of a specific RPG chain about werewolves and this feels like a game I've played in for that.
I don't feel I can pick any one character, because it's the composite whole of the series I love. It's a little campy, a lot rompy, full of Indiana Jones hijinks meets Resident Evil. So my favorite character isn't an actual character within the book, but the character of the series- it's just amazingly fun!
No, but I'm going to look this fellow up for more work!
If I were the type to listen to it in one sitting, I would; but by and large I use audio books to reward myself for doing things that need to get doing- I listen to it to clean, to work out, all sorts of drudgery necessities. This series did accomplish that.
I'm not going to say this is the most spot-on, well-composed piece of work ever. It's not. But quite frankly, I don't want something that is so entrenched in layers of meaning and profound depth- and if I do, I'll go log into one of a number of online college courses on literature that are available. What I love, love, LOVE is anything involving shapeshifters. I love Indiana-Jones-style hijinks. I love fighting to save the world. I love RPGs, which this book series feels so very much akin to a chain of RPG books that I play dedicated to that monster type, that it just.. hits so many happy points in my world. I read/listen to audio books to be entertained, to be caught up in a story...and this does it and with a smile on my face. Also, the author is so invested in his readership! I am so impressed. Put it this way- I already had book one and two purchased in my audio library, and I just went ahead and put in the credit to get the full series AGAIN, and I posted about it to my friends on social media (one of which I'm pretty sure has already purchased it). I cannot emphasize it enough- if you want to have fun, a really good enjoyable fun read, get this series. It's like a Snickers bar- it may not be chock full of nutritious value to make you think upon for hours and hours, but it will absolutely make you happy and leave you satisfied and wanting more.
