Publisher's summary

George Dumas (Bruiser) calls Jane Yellowrock to the Royal Mojo Blues Company, because the club has been the scene of vampire attacks from an unknown rogue-vamp. And they dance. Oh, do they dance…

Purely provocative

Where does Dance Master rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

In the top fifty at least, George at his best.

Who was your favorite character and why?

George because this short is taken from his point of view.

Have you listened to any of Khristine Hvam’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

She is a professional and does professional work.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Bruiser aka George will not just give Jane up to Leo.

Any additional comments?

The dancing between Bruiser and Jane is just short of sex.

Short and sweet!

Any additional comments?

This is a fun short story, but be aware that it is an extract from one of the other books, not a new story.
Also be aware that while some of these 'shorts' are an hour or more long, others are rather less than that.
Very enjoyable listen anyway!

Wow!

This was a magical, perfectly written scene with Jane and Bruiser, aka George, on the dance floor. It was incredibly romantic and sexy!

4 Stars - building the world...even more.

With each new short story, we are getting a clearer picture of who Jane Yellowrock is. We may not know all of her past, but we are learning who she it...step by step.

Sexy but too short

I knew when I made this purchase that it was a super short excerpt and I wanted to give it a shot because I am a fan of the narrator, series and writer’s style. Plus, I’m definitely a fan of these two as a pair. However, as much as I enjoy the quality of this scene, it was far too brief for my appetite. It was just long and sultry enough to peak my interest and then a let down at early curtain closure.

Really good!

Bruiser is from Great Britian but has no accent. > Heavy sigh<
Ms Hvam reads so well that I am speaking like Jane Yellowrock.
Lol!

Steamy, anticipatory short story

Excellent display of longing tempered by patience. This short story definitely offers up the conflict needed to make a story good. Though the conflict and tension have nothing to do with violence.

I loved it!

I loved it!

This was such a surprise. I found these books and thought they were just more stories about Jane in New Orleans. I had no idea what a treasure trove I had found and what I was in for. I was so happy at the end of my first book to find that these were stories of Jane’s history and how some of her backstories played out that are just referenced throughout the series. I also enjoyed hearing the stories from Molly’s perspective. It was money and time well spent.

Loved it

If you could sum up Dance Master in three words, what would they be?

Dancing with Bruiser

What was one of the most memorable moments of Dance Master?

How Bruiser looks at Jane, and says "the woman belongs to no one." I love that line. He is so attentive and wow what a turn on to have a man who is so utterly romantic and can dance. I totally have a crush on George. Lol.

Which scene was your favorite?

This short story was all my favorite. Totally seductive and building the stage for future events. Love the dance scene the best, beautifully written. Jane let's go and let's Bruiser take control and follows. A rare thing that she does and totally captivating.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Forbidden dance or Just one dance.
Forbidden because the are both being pulled by other players, Leo and Rick. Just one because it seems like Bruiser and Jane only get one short moment to actually be together before all hell breaks loose around them.

Any additional comments?

Love this one, really sensual. A great short. Happy listening.
