it is what it in tended to be<br />

Dean Ung stayed true to the known universe created by Larry nivin but this is a short story; that like all goiod stories , depends on character and place not ginmucks and contrivance.

Nivenesque

A quite entertaining spin-off novel set in Larry Niven’s Known-Space universe.

If you’ve read Ringworld or any other story featuring the feline K’zinti aliens, you’re going to like this book.

Set during the fourth Man-Kzin war, the earthman Locklear is captured by a K’zin scout ship and they need some place to stow him while they continue on their mission.

The planet they pick is stranger than it looks - And at first sight, it looks strange enough…

Dean Ing’s story telling is light but thorough, and with a quirky sense of humour.
