Publisher's summary

Hunger burns in Connie Bences' soul - she craves the blood of her vampire lover, Rurik - but it's not satisfying her needs anymore. It's driving her insane. Desperate to find help, Rurik brings her to Rio De Janeiro where Tane rules the vampire nation.

The back-stabbing vampire almost killed her and Rurik when they'd first met, then used them to obtain his crown. She would rather stake him, but the small drop of Nosferatu blood he'd forced her to drink in Budapest is blooming into a bond, one which ties her life to his. One he won't hesitate to manipulate.

He admits to binding her so Rurik would have to remain at his side, but their timing couldn't be any worse. The betrayer finds himself betrayed. Tane's rule is in upheaval and he's forced to place his trust in two people who owe him no allegiance - her and Rurik. In the middle of a power struggle, Connie fights to keep her lover, but didn't plan on Tane slipping into her heart.

I ADORE THIS SERIES!!!

I am so excited about this series!! The character & story progression are awesome!! I hope this series continues its really different than any other & im really excited to see where this goes!! I haven't been this happy with a book, especially a love menage/triad in a long time!! The build up & mutual relationship ship development was really phenomenal! Keep them coming I'm taking the afternoon off work & tucking in with release since I cant get it on audio to read while I'm working. (I never do that)

CAUGHT - VAMPIRES & LOVE.. YOU JUST CAN'T FIGHT IT

Well, after the first book, we knew the story and love lives of Connie and Rurik was going to continue - but never did I imagine the twist that Annie Nicholas was going to think up and bring to her unsuspecting listener as Tane and his crew come back on the scene with devastating results.

Connie and Rurik were blissfully and happily in love unaware that their lives were about to dramatically change and, as they partied the night away in Rio, an evil Nosferatu was watching them as he had violent plans and ambitions but now he was just waiting for the right time to strike. It's got everything you'd expect from a vampire book - hot sexy handsome alpha vampires and an unsuspecting naive woman who all get drawn into an action-packed exciting world where torture, secrets, murder, intrigue, capture, betrayal and redemption lie waiting for them with a few devastating twists thrown in along the way.

My earphones were glued to my ears (good job as some scenes were very hhhot) 'cause this exciting story captivates you as you try to work out the undeniable chemistry, the sexual tension and where it will lead. Then you have to spot the good characters from the bad but eventually comes the twists and you ask yourself how it could possibly have a happy ending....... and when the ending comes it'll leave you either fanning yourself and happy for them or appalled as Connie makes her choice.

Worth a credit? Sooo worth it but...... BEWARE if you're not the type to enjoy a 'Club sandwich' M/F/M perhaps you should just skip this listen or forego the last Chapter then wait for book 3. Hunting Colby which should happily be in My Library soon (hint hint Audible).

Different narrator from bait.

The narrator is annoying. All of the books she narrates, I end up giving up on them. Her voice is whiny, yet little inflection in her reading. It really is irritating! Book 1 was amazing. It's too bad they didn't keep the same narrator.

Horrible Narration

Would you try another book from Annie Nicholas and/or Lauren Sweet?

I have listened to 2 hrs so far and am having a really really hard time getting anything of the story line because I can't stand the Narration. Lauren Sweet is sooooo stilted and monotone.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Lauren Sweet?

Khristine Hvan does a really good job with the Jane Yellowrock series and I think she could have done a really good job with these books also.
