Surprisingly good!!

This really surpassed my expectations! Saying that, I didn't really have any to start with. I didn't read any of the reviews on this and only really wanted to read it because Andrew Tell was narrating!

This book though, has it all!! Action, adventure, comedic relief (at times), mobsters, unexpected twists, and plots within plots, but the main thing is the genetically modified sea creature. You can tell by the genetically modified part that things aren't going to end well ;) Lol.

Plot wise, it was slow to start but once it did it was awesome! What does an ex poker player, an Interpol agent, a mobster and a genetically modified sea creature have in common? Well you will have to read it to see!!

In all, this was such a gripping read. Once the action takes off, it's pretty much a non stop thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat! It had elements of so many books and movies I've enjoyed, all mashed expertly together by the author, to create a memorable and entertaining read. I will definitely be checking out more by Jake Bible!!

Andrew Tell was amazing, as always. He is so easy to listen to and has such an assortment of voices and tones, to bring any story to life. I loved his portrayal of the sea creatures thoughts!! His performance was effortless and made the book come alive.

*I received this for review. This in no way affected my thoughts.*
