Publisher's Summary

Half devil and miles from anything resembling heroic, perpetual underdog Frank "Triggaltheron" Trigg is the last man standing against Armageddon. As the favorite nephew of the devil, Frank has led a troubled life, but he'd always had his uncle's influence to fall back on. Now, with God and Lucifer coming to terms and leaving existence to fend for itself, his once exalted status of Antichrist-to-be does little to endear him to the hordes of angels and demons running amok in the godless world.
With help from the members of DRAC, an organization of wizards, psychics, telepaths, and low-end supernatural beings, Frank must thwart the pro-Armageddon forces and rescue an angel in whose life rests the fate of humanity. Better luck next time, humanity.

An excellent amalgamation of witty humor and despicable violence, this first book in a series is addictive and intelligent. If you tossed Dogma and Donnie Darko into a cement mixer, you might come close. masterfully narrated by Noah Michael Levine (one of my personal favorites) there's plenty of action, tears, affrontery, and seriously awesome imagery, it's impossible not to love this series, no matter what your genre preferences are!

A great audio version of one of my favorite books!

I am a big fan of this author, having read books in most of his other series, and even having beta read a couple for him. That being said, I read this before I even knew who he was. It is an excellent start to the series, Starrring the Devils's favorite nephew, who is part of an organization trying to keep the supernatural forces of the world, mostly angels and Demons, in check after God and Lucifer decide to depart for parts unknown and abandon the Earth. Shockingly, The arch Demons and angels vie for control of the Earth. This leads our wisecracking hero into a series of scrapes he sometimes only barely escapes. The plot is fast moving, never lagging, and the characters are engaging, both heroes and villains alike. I would recommend this book to any fans of slightly darker urban fantasy. Noah Michael Levine Does a great job of bringing the characters to life.
