Publisher's summary

Kindra returns to Earth with her alien friends, but is humanity ready to accept them? Tweeskzaht’s plan did not include a cantankerous Aquilan captain and a seven-foot Pantheran lion. Her carefully planned experiment spirals out of control as more humans meet the aliens. Will acceptance win friendship or will fear condemn us all?

Second book in ther series

As with other books by Reid Minnich by the end i found myself wanting more and to see what happens next. A few area strained believably for me till I thought about all the influences the characters are under. Though with the third book in the series it almost feels as they should be reversed

Better than the first book.

Got way more into the story on this second book. Can't wait for book 3.

Like the first, it was ok

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

The narration was better than the first, and the sound quality was better. The story just didn't grip me and I won't be reading the third book.

and easy listen

I liked the book and I can't wait for the next one. The story grabs your attention. It also makes you wonder about how aliens wound view us and some of the things we do. Also, how would we react to them. Throw in the Internet and you get some interesting situations.

Acknowledging different faces of the Creator

This sequel to Koinobi is interesting, partly because it illustrates how, in a universe where all beings acknowledge a Creator, alien races can find such vastly different types of beauty in their natural gifts and imperatives. And we see that there are creeps and hurtful cultural norms in every civilization, even those among the stars. All sentient beings must seek to rise above their current predicaments and work together to make life better for everyone.

I really like the fact that the themes of these books are delivered in such a gripping story for young people.
