Publisher's summary

I am faster, smarter, stronger. I am Angel 6.0, engineered to perfect the human genome. I might be the savior of the human race...if I can escape the Gran, ferocious alien cats who want to breed me for slave stock.

My name is Angel, and I live on Nugene Station. My days are filled with doctor's tests, but I spend my nights dancing in zero G, or in the arms of my secret lover, Carver Liddell.

Nugene is the sole outpost orbiting Jupiter where specially engineered human clones are bred for sale to the Gran. The treaty between humanity and the cats guarantees a constant supply of worker drones.

I am not a worker drone. I am something else. I am the untapped potential of the human genome, the next step in human evolution.

The cats finally noticed me, they know I am special. Now they want to breed me. Silly cats, don't they know clones are sterile?

Nugene is only the beginning of my story.

HIS SOAPY BALLS

IT HURT JUST THE WAY I LIKE IT
With out coming right out and saying it, we are lead to believe that Angel, who is a clone, was made from DNA from Angelina Jolie. She is a bit naïve about some things, but not sex. She also likes pain.
THE JOY OF MY PAIN
Earth has lost a war with a Cat like alien race. This race wants slaves. Scientist on a space station, make clones, so the CATS will leave Earth alone. There is actually some science in this, as well as science fiction, but it is mostly porn.
HE WAS SO LARGE, HE SIMPLY COULD NOT FIT INTO ME WITHOUT LUBRICATION.
The above statement only applies to sex partner number one. The CATS are built similar to humans, only with much larger packages. There is plenty of action in here to make both genders happy. The sex is hot.
IF YOU CAN'T MASTER YOURSELF, SOMEONE ELSE WILL
I liked it and will continue the series.
WE ARE LIARS, WE LIE EVEN TO OURSELVES
Narrator is excellent

Wow a Very Steamy Book!!!

I was given this book for my honest review and opinion. That being said I had never heard of this Author or This book for that matter and I was surprised that I liked it! But I like Paranormal type erotica but I guess it's more Sci-fi than Paranormal since it takes place in space. It had plenty of sex, action, space travel, and even tiger men and human clones. So if you like any type of erotica I recommend you trying this one on. But this is a cliffhanger book. And there is more to come.

Twisted interest

Living life as a sheltered human clone must be rough. Angelina 6.0, aka Angel, lives in the confines of her makers laboratory. Dr. Danton and Dr. Carver cloned Angel, but not to work as a slave drone for The Gran, she is a secret weapon of sorts that the good doctors created to save the human races future.

Angel was always hidden when The Gran came to collect their slave clones for a reason. She isn't your typical clone. Dr. Carver had a secret relationship with Angel, but when the sheep hit the fan, he sold her out faster than you can say tacos! Now, Angel is in the hands of the enemy, and she is being forced to breed. What Captain Crone doesn't know is that Angel is unable to have children, and is planning her escape. While Angel is in confinement, she meets a real human, not a clone that despises the clones, and that's who Crone locks her in the cell with to breed. Funny haha, no, but funny irony yes. As Angel tries to devise a way out, she is forced to mate with a stranger, and is taken as the Captains concubine. Did I mention they are feline like creatures, with ding dongs the size of King Kong's? Ya... I found it real interesting how the writer got around that little problem.

I must admit that I enjoyed this story, despite the fact that Angel acted more like a robot than a human clone. She was passed around like a joint, and enjoyed playing everyone. The only emotion she ever displayed for more than a nano second was when she was orgasmic. However, you take out all the sex scenes, and their was a story line in there. The history of how the war began between The Gran and the humans was explained, in quite a lot of detail. The hidden innuendos about Angel's real purpose, and by that I mean they only made clones to be slaves for The Gran, and she wasn't made the same way. The fact that she was placed in enemy territory, guarding her secret nature, had me very intrigued, and I want to read more! I want to find out what happens! Does Angel turn into this extraordinary warrior and take The Gran down?! For this being my first read of Travis Luedke's I would have to give him two thumbs up. The writing was seamless, and the flow of the story was as smooth as a babies butt!

Narrator Review

Rachel Orlin was the narrator for Angel 6.0 Concubine. I have never had the pleasure of listening to Rachel until now. She does an excellent emotionally detached clone woman! Rachel has a nice tone, very pleasant to listen to. The sound quality was great, and Rachel's performance was true to the story. I'm so glad to have been introduced to yet another talented narrator!

Sexy Sci Fi My first Space Opera

Angel 6.0 is a hot short story that sets up for the beginning of a good series. I am intrigued with Angel and her abilities. The sex is hot and The narration is so good I could see her battling the Cat warriors, I could feel her thoughts. Great story and I can't wait for more.

Disappointing

I really thought this was going to be about this super cool, kick butt bionic chic. Yeah, no. Might be a decent quick book on a rainy day. But to hear this truly hurts my ears. Need. Food. Breeding. Take. Time. Uuuggghhhh

Angel 6.0 Concubine

I enjoyed this audio version of Angel 6.0. Rachel Orlin does a good job of bringing Angel to life. As I listened I soon became lost in Angel's story. I was right alongside her as she quickly learns just how mean the world can be. Life is short and she must make of it what she can. Angel is an experiment that was never to be seen yet seen she is and there is no going back from that. There is no learning curve in Angel's life ,she must stay alive at all costs or die trying. Angel now has a will to live and she fights hard to do so. I was pulled right in to the story as Angel grows and learns just what it means to live.

Intriguing sci-fi romance

This audiobook was interesting to listen to, but be aware that it's an ongoing serial type story in 5 books- so expect a cliffhanger! The heroine is a genetically created human who is very unique. I found the cat aliens to be so strange and freaky. Getting ready to listen to the next book and looking forward to where the author takes this story!

Angel's journey has begun

What made the experience of listening to Angel 6.0: Concubine the most enjoyable?

Having read the book & LOVING it, I found listening to Angel's story gave it so much more depth. I actually felt Angel's anguise when she finally understands that her lover lied to her, I think Rachel Orlin brought Angel to life with her naration.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved how unique this story is, Travis got into the head of his character, Angel is still young, by human years but being born into an adults body & un-familiar with to the many human flaws.

Which scene was your favorite?

I think my favourite scene was when Angel evades The Gran when they first arrive at Nugene Station.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The ride that changes Angel's life has begun.

Any additional comments?

While Travis' writing takes us on a dark, steamy & twisted journey, Rachel's naration takes it that one step further, by adding a depth to it, as well as an inocence to Angel that wasn't there whislt reading her story. I can't wait to listen to the rest of Angel's story.

GREAT STORY!!!!

I finished and bought them all !! Such a great story. Action packed, not a moment where something wasn't happening. Catman steals superish girl and whisks her away to another galaxy. The narration is great too, and I will look for more Rachel Orlin.
Be warned it is addictive and you will want to know whats going to happen next. Its not predictable at all.
