Publisher's Summary

Everyone wants justice.
That's what Assistant DA Lulu Lightly tells me. "Cathedral City needs you to set things right," she says. "To rid this place of corruption, once and for all."
I'd like to rid Lulu Lightly of her clothes. And maybe her moral superiority. But mostly her clothes.
"I want you to fight the good fight with me," she says.
Hell, yeah. I'm always up for a fight.
"We should stand up and be the voice of the people," she says.
Sure, I hear voices. Sometimes I even listen to them.
"Figure out what's good for the City and put it first," she says.
Oh, honey...what's good for the City is bad for the people. Trust me, I know. I'm Case Reider - insane Alpha, nefarious inventor, and I understand this town better than anyone.
Cathedral City needs me all right. Just not the way you think. I'm not the justice you're looking for, Lulu Lightly. I'm still the same villain you left behind.
Only now...there's something very, very wrong with me.

Well, this series might be too Sci Fi for me. :(

Hmmm, I'm not sure if I'm going to continue this series; it may be too far fetched for my taste. I mean, a whole city is taken over, the population has been drugged and there is mass destruction and loss of life and , somehow, the Federal Government hasn't noticed any of this.

I really wish there was the EOBS so I knew what Julie was thinking, when she wrote this. I know it may seem hypocritical for me to think this series is too out there but I can totally get in to Paranormal stories, but I cAn.

In addition, the male narrator wasn't near As good As Sebastian York. I m so dissapointed that there is a JA Huss series that I don't like.

I love Case and Lulu!!!

Yep...I loved the second in the series more than the first! I didn't think I'd be into this genre (superhero-ish)...but I am loving this series! The way Julie's mind works fascinates me...how does she come up with this stuff! It's so good - this book was packed with action, romance, drama, "hot" bodies, explosions...and so much more! I loved it!

Ava and Tad were awesome - I especially love Tad as a narrator! Wonderful job of bringing Case and Lulu to life!

Can't wait to hear Thomas' story! Thanks Julie!
