Not more than one-liners for each Character

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I cannot imagine, big fans will want more and light fans will not care.

What was most disappointing about Charlaine Harris’s story?

It was pretty much one-line "endings" to each characters story. I was expecting more of an epilogue.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Johanna Parker?

Oh yes.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Any additional comments?

It sounded as though the narrator was even bored of the one-liners.

Doesn't work as an audiobook

Any additional comments?

This book is best used as a companion book that you can open up in a physical form and scroll through the characters to find the one you want. It has been a while since I read the books in this series so the names of all but the main characters mean little to me without going back to the books, which I don't really care enough to do.
Maybe I'm too cynical but I wonder whether the publishers are simply milking the series after it should have been dead and buried (pardon the pun) a while ago - I found the last 2 books very disappointing; they lacked the plot complexity and multiple threads of the earlier books.

Although very short and while also accepting I'm kinda a 'completionist' I enjoyed this little book .

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I'm not sure it should even have been published, I don't feel it adds anything to the series of books whatsover.

What will your next listen be?

I may consider some of the other book series by Charlaine Harris....

Do you think After Dead needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No, the last book limped along really and this book was unnecessary. Unfortunately I think Charlaine Harris' fore for the story and the characters dimmed a little towards the end.
