Amazing! Aaron Shedlock and Tracy Marks are perfect!!

Wow! This story! I loved everything about this book. Everything, you ask? EVERYTHING. L. A. Fiore’s writing is magic. I felt transported to Scotland with all her beautiful descriptions. It’s a darker kind of romance, but the darkness only helps to make the light of Lizzie and Brochan’s love shine brighter. Brochan now owns my heart, my soul, and whatever else he wants. It’s his. The complexity of his character is fantastic and the way Lizzie can see past all the dark and into who he truly is was beautiful. This is one love story that will stay with me for a very long time.

Narration by Tracy Marks and Aaron Shedlock is quite simply brilliant. They take a book that’s already phenomenal on its own and they elevate it into something better with each of their performances! Plus, Aaron Shedlock’s Scottish accent is everything. I’m tempted to ask for a birth certificate because he’s that good! Together, Ms. Marks and Mr. Shedlock bring Brochan and Lizzie to life and do their story more than justice. They create magic and make this an absolute must listen. All the stars.

Savage does not begin to describe him.............

I think the story is great. I wish in certain scenes there were more description of the surroundings and interaction but overall it was good. You can't help but fall for Brogan and Lizzie just captures your heart. If there were a continuation of this book, I would definitely ready it.

Dark but good

Loved the story. Just when I thought I could predict what was going to happen, it would take a turn in the other direction.

GREAT NARRATION

This book kept my attention and drew me in even more because of the great Narration by Tracy Marks and Aaron Shedlock.
I love how they both have the Scottish accents down to perfection.
This book was so good and pulled at your heart as you listened to how both these characters were so abused as kids and young adults. I also loved the way they were brought together and fell for each other and all the turmoil that hits them.
It's a different type of story and it kept me wanting to find out what would happen next to them.
Don't miss out on this one.
Worth a credit!

Loved it!

I've become a fan of dual POV in romances and the narration of this was spot on. you really find yourself rooting for Brochan and Lizzie to get their HEA, they deserved it and compliment each other beautifully. I will definitely give this another listen, which is the hallmark of a great book as far as I am concerned. Looking forward to reading/listening to more by this author.

Bent, Not Broken!

I was amazed by this book! I loved the setting of Scotland for most of the story and thought the imagery was so well done. Both narrators added so much to the book with their accents, distinguishable voices for various characters, and the raw emotions. Both are top notch!
The main vibe I got from this book was Bent, not Broken. What the characters endured, no one should ever have to go thru. This book had some unexpected twists and turns, some despicable characters along with hope, resilience, and love.
I definitely will listen to more books by this author and narrators, plus I will listen to this book again as it was so well done. My review is not a synopsis, but my opinion.

More than meets the eye

Any additional comments?

This audio was smoking hot. The accent performed by the male narrator made my panties wet. Both narrators did a fabulous job. The story was intriguing, enduring, emotional, and steamy, with a side order of danger. The heroin was strong and intelligent. The story line was well balanced and quick. I loved every moment. If you’re looking for a easy listen, with heat and some mystery this audio is perfect for you.

The story pulls you in..very well written

A beautifully written story. It was tragic, but did not dwell on this part put the part was more of the two main female and male leads and how they came together. That was truly beautiful and kept me listening. I could not put it down. The narrators were very good with their accents. The only problem I had was the female narrator when she was reading her part of the book. It was too broken up in reading The lines. But because of the story was so good I suggest you keep going because it is Avery heart felt story. I recommend highly.
