A Great Story!!

I loved these books! And I was so happy to see that they were all in a boxed set. These books started out amazing as far as the story goes. The narrator I wasn't too wild about as far as how she made the women sound but I got over it eventually. 😕 But the stories themselves were great! And definitely worth getting and having a listen to them as well. There are four stories and to me each was better than the last. The first story is about how Alice and Christopher got together and how he eventually beat his brother Reese. The second book is about Danny and Robin and Danny is on a mission from the New King Christopher to find and investigate Hattori abuse against the sirelings by thier sires. The Third book is about Lauren who's only ambition is to be a trophy wife. She meets Trevor and they date for 6 mths. then suddenly Trevor asks her to be his beloved. Unfortunately he has a warped view on vampires and starts abusing Lauren. Luckily for Lauren Trevor's uncle Ben who lives on the property noticed what's going on and saved Lauren. Then book three is all about finding a way to break the Hattori. And Mickey has found a way but he needs the help of Christopher's sire line. Luckily Valerie Dal is sent to investigate and humors Mickey until he proves that there is a way. They both had several trials they had to complete and they had to rely on each other not only with trusting each other but with their lives. I really enjoyed these stories. The only thing I liked about the narrator was she definitely was able to make you believe that you were listening to that character. And each character had their own voice. You could even tell the difference between the women talking to each other. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Good Read

Royal Blood: A Four Story Paranormal Romance Collection was a good read by A.J. Tipton. This box set consists of; The Vampire's Throne, The Vampire's Lair, The Vampire's Escape, and The Vampire's Choice. These books follow vampire royals who will wish everything to save the people they love as well as their kingdom. I enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

I LOVED IT!

I loved it! I enjoyed the narration and that's because I remember her narrating his Elemental Vikings Series which I enjoyed as well! The author does a great job with the character builds and plot. I have read so many books by this author and I look forward to reading more. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Entertaining 4 part paranormal story.

Warning of descriptive sex and language. 18+. I enjoyed the first two stories the best. The last two were just ok.The narrator did a pretty good job with the different voices.

Narrator has irritating voices

The voices the narrator uses for the male characters are very unbelievable and very irritating. I was unable to complete the books.

Storyline is good

This book is best enjoyed as a written book. The narration on this audio was incredibly irritating and whiny. The protagonist sounds weak and pouty. Otherwise and enjoyable offering.

Inclusive paranormal love drama story FINALLY!

AJ Tipton ALWAYS includes different races, ethnic & sexual orientation within the stories.. Even slight kinky stuff (my opinion).. Yes adult middle age readers of color will find someone or something they can relate to.. This version of the series is an excellent value.. Bravo!!! more please.. WORTH THE CREDIT!.

Story was great but the narration was horrible

This story gave some new twists to vampire characteristics. It made the story interesting. However the narration was the worst I have ever heard. (I listen to books regularly). She made all the characters sound like nasally snobbish obnoxious people. I was tempted to stop listening to the story many times but I really wanted to know how the story ended.

Was expecting a bit more

All the four stories are ok. In the end they seam to be about the ending of the Hattory (I hope I'm spelling it right), that is the ability vampires have to mind control those that they turn. With power comes abuse so when even the suppose good guys use that ability against their lovers wishes there is a problem.
I found the narrator ok too. Though you can understand her and she really does a great effort to interpret every character differently, sometimes (ok, most of the times) it comes out a bit too much or not to the point.
In the end, though I don't think this series provides a strong story, it's still enjoyable and original in the theme.

Narration was absolutely horrible. I will go back and just read the book, but the narrator almost ruined it...😔.
