Publisher's summary

Paige Roberts learned to fend for herself growing up. Now she's doing everything possible to give her daughter, Casey, the stability she never had. But when the vivacious five-year-old decides that she's done wearing her prosthesis, Paige faces her toughest challenge yet: trusting a handsome, brooding stranger who simply wants to help.

JT McKinney lost more than his leg in a car accident that stole his dreams of pro football. Eight years later he's made a new life for himself far away from his old one. His business is developing cutting-edge prosthetics, and he's more than happy to turn his attention to machines instead of people. Still, he can't shake the feeling that something's missing.

When JT gets the chance to help Paige's daughter, he takes it. He never planned on the two of them tearing down his walls or teaching him to believe in himself again. Paige might not believe in happily ever afters, but JT wants more than anything to be her prince. They'll both have to let go of the past if they want a future.

Contains mature themes.

Bad narrator

Would you listen to Worth It All again? Why?

No! I would if the narrator on book 1&2 will read it.

Would you be willing to try another one of Vanessa Daniels’s performances?

NO! She's now on my bad narrator's list. DO NOT ONE CLICK.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes

Any additional comments?

Can we have the narrator from books 1&2 read it? Just asking.

Worth it All

If you could sum up Worth It All in three words, what would they be?

A relaxing listen

What didn’t you like about Vanessa Daniels’s performance?

Everything, this book would have been so much more with the same narrator as the first 2 books. It was very difficult to follow who was saying what, it was a below average performance. I expected much more.

Nice Story, but..

I enjoyed the story but hated the reader. No male voice used, as I'm used to, and she sounded like she was reading a book in school, rather than an audio book. But, it was a sweet story. Get this one when Audio has a sale so you don't care about how it's read.

story good, narrator not

I've enjoyed this series & really like getting updates on the previous couples & families.
I wish the previous narrator read this book. This narrator is monotone & doesn't change her voice very well between characters. Often, I had to rewind to figure out who was speaking.

Terrible Narrator!

The plot was predictable but an enjoyable, easy read. The narration was absolutely terrible. Very little distinction between the character's voices and she read so quickly at times that it was hard to follow.

Refund because of narration

If you could sum up Worth It All in three words, what would they be?

Do not buy. So disappointed in the narration of this book. I loved the first two books in the series and the narration for them but asked for a refund for Book 3 because of the narrator. No fluctuation in her voice at all and no distinction between characters, not even a little bit. Hard to keep up with the story because there is no distinction between adult women, men and children's characters. A good narrator makes a huge difference in the book itself. Possibly would've rated the book itself higher but couldn't finish it with this narrator.

Modern romance

This was a sweet story with realistic but not over done angst. Light reading even while dealing with people with amputations.

The narrator was decent but there wasn't much difference between the men's and women's voices.

Great story, not so great narration

I really love this series. The stories are great and I enjoy the real-life situations. The author does a great job with both the steamy scenes and emotional ones. However, I did not enjoy this narrator. I liked her voice fine, but her cadence and inflection were... inappropriate. It sounded as if she was used to reading to elementary school students but forgot that wasn't who her audience was for this book. I finished the book, but only because of the story. Unfortunately, I won't be listening to this one again.

Worth It All

The storyline was a little disappointing to me, I felt the book seemed rushed and unorganized. I did not like the narrator at all, sorry, not sorry!
She would have been fine to handle Paige, but terrible for Kasey and Jake.

While the characters of Jake and Paige were apparently made for each other, I still felt their story wasn’t given the same care of the other books in this series.
