On the fence
I've read 2/3 of the books about the couples in the book and overall the story was good but I wish the author would have had a little more gusto with letting the woman main character "have it all"....so far in both books both of the women's storylines were similar with the parents situation...however overall the story was good. I liked this book flow a little more because it was more realistic than Alex and Diane to me.

The narrator killed it
I am a fan of Francis Ray and this book series. However, the narrator did not quite meet my expectations for the characters in the book. This is not the first book I've heard this narrator perform. I felt the same way about the other stories as well. I'm not saying that she's a horrible narrator. Another book would probably be okay. Just not this kind. I really wish that the producers would keep in mind the characters of the books before picking the narrator.
