Publisher's summary

Josiah Stonewell dug his hands into the filthiest parts of my soul and molded a perfect little Walker. I don't know the exact moment I fell in love with him, but I do know that if anyone found out about our lingering stares, it would end his political career.

Josiah's unexpected engagement has me squinting down the barrel of heartbreak, and to make matters worse; I find myself traded to Cyler Black and his leadership council in a distant Providence. Soon, Cyler and his team of passionate leaders start to feel like family, and I'm promised freedoms I never imagined were possible; But Josiah's not through with me yet, and war is on the horizon.

Can I find happiness in my new home? Or will Josiah finally choose me?

Contains mature themes.

awesome

What an awesome story. Ashley is sweet, naive, and strong. I love Cyler and the guys too. The narrator did an excellent of capturing Ashley's character.

Interesting storyline

This is a little different than the usual romance I listen to but I have to admit that I was really intrigued by the world that the author created. Being a RH I was expecting a little more heat but it was more like a slow simmer. That didn't bother me as this is the first in a 5 book series. The only downfall is that only the first 2 books are on audio.

The narrator did a pretty good job. At times I wished there would have been a bit more distinction between the males.

On to the next book!

Oh my goodness I am loving this series! Great story with characters you can’t help but fall in love with. A beautiful reminder that we are far greater than the circumstances that create us. We are always given opportunities to expand and Ash is definitely seizing them all.

Holy Wonderful

I like to get the audiobooks for books I have already read cause I'm weird like that. I am always nervous that the narrator won't match what I imagine in my head for the character. That was not the case for this book. I LOVE the narrator just as much as I love the story!

Amazing story!

I had already read the ebook version of Wings of the Walker, the story is fantastic and has you hooked from the beginning. I really enjoy the way this is written and Ash and her story really draw you into the book.
This was my first ever audio book, the narrator does a really good job and reads at a nice pace. She uses good variation in tone and accents to voice the various characters including the male voices in the book and it is fairly easy to pick out which of the guys she is portraying.
Enjoyable listening and great to be able listen to one of my favourite books!

Book that got me hooked on audio

I got this book with my first credit for signing up on audible and I regret not getting this sooner!! It has definitely gotten me hooked on audiobooks and everything Coralee June. Loved every second of this story and audiobook and cannot wait for more 😍🤓

Elizabeth does a great job with different accents for the guys, so you know who is who before she even reads it. I loved the characters and this dystopian world and story Coralee has created. I cant wait to see more of the relationship develop and what Coralee does with certain pesky characters that wont seem to give up haha. Also, totally want recipes for all these delicious things Ash makes haha.

Such a Great Story!!

I had first read this as a kindle book and fell in love with the story! Listening to it as a audible book was great. The narrator did a great job and I felt her grow with the character just as I did reading the book. There are multiple guys in the book and they were easily distinguishable while listening. I would recommend this book and will be ready to listen to book 2!

Review for audiobook

I’ve already read the ebook version in Kindle. I love the book - it’s captivating and intriguing. I like the diversity of the characters and the plot is interesting. This audiobook is an extra bonus.

The narrator seems stiff, almost formal when she first starts reading. She soon warms up and begins to feel Ash, the main female lead. The narrator really gets into the story and you can tell by the infliction in her voice.

This was my first audiobook since grade school, lol. It took a little to get used to hearing the voices voiced differently than how I had read them in my head.

Overall, it was a fantastic book with a good narrator.
