Publisher's summary

Abel Jin and Delilah Johnson have lived their lives with holes in their souls, yearning for something they don't understand. Until one night Delilah is in mortal danger, and a man who's otherworldly strong and supernaturally fast saves her. Delilah is then cast into a world where fiction comes to life in the form of Abel, her destined mate, a vampire/werewolf hybrid who claims her at first breath as his. But Abel knows the danger isn't done. He's dreamed for centuries that his mate will perish, and he will stop at nothing to keep her safe.

For Delilah, she's coping not only with a fantasy come to life but also with a mingling of very different families. Not to mention she has on her hands a man who doesn't understand his true nature and has lived his long life thinking he's a monster. Abel and Delilah together fill the hole that has been clawing at them for decades. But, finally finding each other, it also tips their destinies as the last of The Three. They must unite with the other destined lovers, who, with Abel and Delilah, are fated to save the world. Or die trying.

Awesome!

Awesome finish to an amazing series. I absolutely adored Delilah and Abel. And this author can do no wrong. The narrator was decent. Definitely worth reading or listening to.

Five Wild & Free Stars

A beautiful and intense conclusion to Kristen Ashley's The Three series Wild and Free did not disappoint! After With Everything I Am book two in the series I didn't have high hopes for book three because I a mean how can you top King Callum? And while book two was my favorite of the series, three was powerful in a way only a conclusion book can be.

Abel is the only vampire/werewolf hybrid known in existence and after 200 years on this Earth he has never encountered another of his kind but all that changes one night when he senses vampires attacking HER. With Abel's animal instincts coming in he knows he must protect this woman at all costs because she is the one who can and will change it all.

Lilah has always felt like she was missing a huge part of herself and while her father understood her mother thought she was insane. Being the daughter of a biker Lilah doesn't scare easily but when she is attacked late one night in an alley, she can't help but be terrified of the creatures attacking her. When Lilah thinks there is no hope, HE saves her, and she knows she shouldn't trust this man, but she can't help it because this could be the man that can finally make her feel whole.

As Abel and Lilah make their way to each other there are other forces at work. Some wanting to stop them and others wanting to help. Abel is cautious by nature and only wants to protect Lilah but protecting her and his family means letting people in, including the other two couples that make up the Three.

This book differed from the other two because we not only got Lilah and Abel, we also got to revisit some of other favorites including Lucian, Sonia and Callum. As the story is unfolding, we even get a whole new look at Yuri, the cold vampire who only wanted Sonia but all that changes with a new witch. Wild and Free was a constant story of battles, sorrow, love and trying to save the world from the evil forces that be.

There were parts I did not see coming and parts that I saw coming from a mile away, but it was fantastic to me. I've never read anything quite like this before and now that I have started a journey with Kristen Ashely, I can't wait to read some of her other stories. Side note, I really would like a story with maybe Yuri or the children of The Three.

Armageddon!!!

Outstanding, epic story telling.

It had all the features of story telling at it best, love, passion, suspense, fears, despair and hopefulness to name a few.

The narrator was superb. She had multiple distinctive voices for each character, and there were quite a number of them.

I love Kristen Ashley's stories because even within a series, the stories and each character's experiences are very different, no cookie cutter storyline.

A very fun filled listening experience!!😎

Dora review

At first I didn’t think of this book 📖, I was just thinking, going to erase it, but I kept listening 👂 and it finally got my attention, still not sure why it took me so long to get into this book 📖

Satisfying end to this trilogy.

Erin, abby, and Stella's performances were dead on and enhanced this novel nicely.

The end of this trilogy was satisfying, which was no small feat with a story of this scope. I'd like to read more paranormal novels from Kristen Ashley, for sure.

A great story. A great finale. Its a bit long and tedious and repetitive but good. Narrator did great. The Three series is really good. Love Kristen Ashley's stories.

This story is about all three couples plus a bonus

Listened to audio narrated well by Erin Mallon, Abby Craden and Stella Bloom. The narration was good but sometimes the change to a different narrator felt abrupt. Abel is a werewolf, vampire and meets Delilah after she's attacked by werewolves and vampires. He recognizes she's the one he's been searching for and Delilah has also found what she had been missing for so long. Abel has never been around supernaturals and doesn't know a lot about what he is, believing himself a monster. The Three work together to try and save the world from 'The True', and learn about their abilities. This story is about all three couples plus a bonus couple Uri and Aurora.
