Publisher's summary

What has she done? With a new identity, a staged death, and a chance to flee the treachery that stalks her, Rachael has escaped from a faceless assassin. Now, thousands of miles from home, under the lush canopy of the rain forest, she's found sanctuary.

Where can she hide? In this world teeming with unusual creatures walks the most exotic of them all. His name is Rio. A native of the forest imbued with a fierce prowess, he is something to be desired. Possessed of secrets of his own, he is something to be feared.

Whom can she trust? As Rachael's past looms as oppressively as the heat of the forest, and as Rio unleashes the secret animal instincts that course through his blood, Rachael fears that her isolated haven has become an inescapable hell.

Leopard People is A Wonderful Escape to Danger

Where does Wild Rain rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I rank it in the top 20. I love this series by Christine Feehan. I bought them in paperback first and then got them in audio. This story is about Rachael who is escaping from her family into the rain forest. She doesn't know she is a leopard. The story unfolds when she meets Rio and then....the lust begins. The characters cross over from early books and continue into the later books of which there are now six. I have them all.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Wild Rain?

When Rachael first realizes that Rio is leopard and then she realizes that she is one as well. It is a good story and like the other paranormal love stories. Feehan makes you want more.

Have you listened to any of Renée Raudman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I like all of her narrations. She is a very talented narrator.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I've listened to it at least twice and will listen more. I like the stories and the characters and the sexy men who become leopard. Makes my heart go pitter patter.

I love to read

If you could sum up Wild Rain in three words, what would they be?

RIO Jungle Leopard people

Who was your favorite character and why?

Rio because he is a man a woman could trust to watch her back.

What does Renée Raudman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I have read the book and listen too. I just love the way Renee Raudman makes the book come alive.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Welcome to the Rain Forest

Any additional comments?

All I can say is I love the story line and the men in the books.

Wild Story

Where does Wild Rain rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is one of the best books I've listened to. Wonderful story line. The reader made the heroine sound as strong as she is supposed to be. Quite a different setting from the "Dark" series by Ms. Feehan. Though there are some similarities.

What other book might you compare Wild Rain to and why?

Like the "Dark" series in that it encompasses a dying race and its predators.

captivating

It has my full attention from start to finish. I love the storytelling and the sex scenes are very well written, it's like I'm watching it. I have read most of the books in the Leopard Series and I look forward to reading the rest of Christine Feehan's books. ...........................................................................................................................................

GREAT!

The story was great and the reader was AWESOME. There is a part in the story and she makes you feel the same anxiety that the characters are feeling.

Liked the book, Hated the narration!

It's always so sad when the narrator makes a good book so painful to listen to. I'm with the other two reviewers here, Raudman makes Rio sound so hateful and angry that it makes listening to this book very difficult. She does Rachel well but that's about it, the tribesman sound like children and the basic narration is harsh in tone. Such a disappointment for a book I was so looking forward to. As we all know, it's amazing the difference the narrator makes to a book, take Feehan's Ghostwalker series, Tom Stechschutle takes those books from good to fabulous! I so wish he had narrated this one!
