Odd story

This audiobook was second in a series and for some reason I just couldn’t connect at all with it. The story itself seemed a little jumbled in understanding what was happening and why, the narration was horrible. I’ll pass on any more in this series.

Loved it!

WOW, Very good book. The first book was such a wild read, I was so close to not finishing it and so glad I kept listening to it. This book continues the story and builds the series into a marvelous adventure in dominance, understanding, violence and budding love. The narrator was Fantastic!!

Series is growing on me

I liked the first book and got this one. This has more action and suspense. Love the interaction between Alpha Beast & Vice. Didn’t see the end coming at all. Love surprise twists that make total sense in hindsight. Ended up binging to the end to the detriment of my work the next day.

Great 2nd book

I held off reading this book for so long because I was afraid it wouldn’t compare to the first book. I shouldn’t have waited. I think this book had a more serious feel to it, and it really moved the series into an ongoing story. It set up a background story to take place while the other beasts find their mates. The background story wasn’t overpowering and never took away from Vice and Dewlyn, which I’m so glad. It just gave their story more depth.

I felt for both characters. Dewlyn was betrayed by people who were supposed to love and protect her, and I can see how she put some of the blame on Vice by not taking her when he had the chance. But at the same time it wasn’t his fault and he never would have known they would hurt her. I wanted Vice to get his girl back and I wanted her to be happy.

I love how it happened. I love that Vice milked it for all it was worth. Even if it took faking a little bit of a coma. lol.

Fly Away

Vice wanted Dullin, but he had to wait until her birthday. She was so eager to be his mate. But something happened and she had changed. Radically different! She wanted nothing to do with Vice and ran away twice. Vice hunted her down twice. Then she finally broke down and told him what her parents did to her. Vice saw Red and the beastmates wanted revenge. You will have to read or listen to the book. Great series to read over and over again! Of course, it is strictly for adults only! Yes yaw! Listening to Audible gives you a different concept with hearing the different parts by the narrator.

There are echoed if a good sci fi romance here. There are gaps that leave you wondering and wanting.

Awesome!!

I love this world that Milana is creating. Her Beasts seem hard, but are loving, protective mates. The book was well written, and Holly's narration was superb.

Ok, this one just didn’t do it for me. I was good with the first 2 books, but not this one.
