Publisher's Summary

A ruthless businesswoman and the playboy who dumped her long ago find themselves embroiled in a high stakes game of love, lies and revenge.
Life coach and best-selling author Victoria Price has it all: a successful career, fabulous friends, and a fantastic penthouse in Manhattan. What she doesn't have - and doesn't want - is a husband. Fifteen years ago her high school flame broke her heart so badly she swore she'd never love again. Now she makes millions teaching other women how to be just like her: a ruthless bitch.
Drop-dead sexy restauranteur and infamous playboy Parker Maxwell has only three rules for the women he dates: no questions about his past, no expectations for the future, and no spending the night. When he meets Victoria, however, he's willing to break his own rules if it means sating the explosive desire she arouses in him. What he doesn't know is that the alluring Victoria Price used to be the mousy Isabel Diaz, the girl he deflowered and dumped long ago.
Presented with a perfect opportunity for revenge, Victoria decides the game is on. But when her connection with Parker proves more than just skin deep, she has to make a choice: continue with her plan for payback, or risk her career, her reputation, and her heart by taking a second chance on love?

So angsty!

If every person plotted revenge on someone that destroyed their heart in high school we would all be miserable. The plot made me mad at heroine. I had a hard time relating to her at all even after the full story was revealed from her side.

There is a clear defined roll open for a male character. Why no male narrator? I think Morgan is great but needed the male voice for clearly makes Parker's narrative.

What did you like best about Wicked Beautiful? What did you like least?

Sincerely, read the reviews before making your decision. I did, but still purchased both books in series anyway, thinking after reading "hey, it can't be all that bad...". They were right and I was wrong.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I found the story too long - meaning much of the dialogue was repeated. It could have been edited down while still keeping the tone of the book with all its twists and turns. A good book should hold you to the edge of your seat, dying to know what happens next -- this story just left me dying (fell asleep more than once while listening to the book at bedtime).

How could the performance have been better?

This book may have stood a chance, but honestly - the narrator really does make or break the book. Ms. Moran did not (or could not) deliver the proper tone needed to portray this self-proclaimed "bitch". Her voice is too whiny for one. It's not her fault the book didn't have a true male voice reading the part, but Moran couldn't deliver.

Any additional comments?

Let me just conclude by stating this, my opinion and I'll stand by it: If you are so insecure and immature to the point of holding on to a grudge well into adulthood, you are not and will never be considered a confident, successful woman, such as the heroine is depicted as being. Get over it. We all have at some point in your young lives. And if we haven't, or didn't...I strongly suggest therapy.

Fab story line

Good heart wrenching story
However my only disappointment was that Parker wasn’t narrated by a man this would of made the performance much better and easier to listen too and follow

I LOVED THIS STORY:)

Would you listen to Wicked Beautiful again? Why?

Totally I love the whole twist it the story and can't wait for the next book...

What did you like best about this story?

The love Parker has for Bella

Any additional comments?

I wish and a guy was reading Parker's version of events someone like Deacon Lee or Jason Carpenter or Zachary Webber - think that would have made the story stand out even though Melissa does a good job

Annoying narrator

Suffered through to the end just to find out what happens. Not the best written book, but sometimes the narrator just made the characters and dialogue annoying.

Totally wicked and strickly beautiful

Wow this book was a great listen, lots of sexy toe curly banter, straight talking and to the point. So loved it. At first I thought rich female rich bloke, you know how it goes, money buys everything, I guess poor love stories aren't as attractive as rich ones. I so love reading J T's stories, so I suck it out and was very pleasantly surprised of the depth of the story. I also found it quiet funny in places. The narration by Melissa Moran was brilliantly done. Well worth the money I paid. So looking forward to Tabby's and the Jar heads story. cheers
