A DELICOUSLY WICKED FAIRYTALE
How does Kresley Cole do it?... time after time she's delivered riveting listens and, even though we are now at book 17, they've never ever been boring, dull or predictable because her paranormal world-building skills are just amazing. And, every time I finish the latest instalment about the mythical characters of The Lore, I'm immediately craving the next one - and so on.. because she has never disappointed me, has never failed to entertain me and has always managed to spin a fresh new IAD story.
In this book Nix the Ever-Knowing is up to her usual tricks by orchestrating things so a banished virgin Fey Princess is tossed into Hell as the reincarnated mate of the King of Pandemonia. The chemistry between Sian and Lila was off the charts, the sexual tension was palpable, the passion was hot and the quick witted banter between them was fun. Loveable characters get tangled up in the wickedly clever dual POV storyline that'll amaze and entertain. Robert Petkoff's narration was flawless as he brought everything to life.. and he IS the voice of The Lore.
Worth a credit? Yes.. and I'll happily continue to buy books from this very talented Author.

Beauty and the Beast.
What a great story. I have always been a fan of the beauty and the beast story and this is a great twist added to one of my favorite series. I couldn't wait to listen to it and it paid off. I hope Kresley Cole never stops writing this series. I laughed so hard when Lila pulled here first trick on Sian. I loved this world before when Lanthe and Thronos were stuck in it and now I love it even more. There wasn't a lot of action in this book, but it has a lot of mischief and that really brought the story to life. And as usual Robert Petkoff is awesome.

Devilish Devil
Sexy influenced Beauty & the Beast, with a bit of Cinderella, Snow White & the 7 Dwarves, Rumpelstiltskin etc thrown in.
It has all the elements you expect from the IAD series. 2 opposing creatures who are mates with chemistry, conflict from the past still effecting today & a manipulating Nyx in her crazy way. Loved the overall story but a few flaws. Calliope is the reincarnated mate of Abyssian who betrayed him. I don't understand how he didn't know who she really was a princess in this incarnate as well... I wish they had explored more the reincarnation element instead of just referring to it.
It also rushed the ending. I felt Calliope forgave Abyssian to quickly at the end, she should have punished him just a little more.
Love this series can't wait for the next instalment.
