Publisher's summary

Book 9 in the Mile High Romance Series.

Troy has been given the opportunity of a lifetime. Not only is he now the half owner of the sandwich shop he helped build, but he's also living in a gorgeous loft condo for dirt cheap. His life would be perfect if he had someone to share it with.

Isaac has had some tough breaks in life. He got caught up in some stupid shit when he was younger and spent too many of his teen years in juvie. His family claims to want to get him on the righteous path, but there are too many restrictions they hold over his head as part of that bargain.

When he takes a minimum-wage job at a grilled cheese place, he doesn't have high expectations that it'll last long. He hopes to get a paycheck or two and maybe skip town. But when he finds his boss' journal, his plans change in a way he never thought possible.

as great as the ebook

The story is always full stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Michael Ferraiuolo is one of the top 5 narrators for me, I can listen without break and have no problems to follow.
I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B

Fantastic Story, Excellent Series

Yes, so good! This has been one of the most enjoyable series I've ever read. How Aria Grace keeps up the quality of each of these stories over the course of 10 books, well it's quite an accomplishment.

We got to know Troy a little bit in When the Bough Breaks and that he's already having trouble managing the sandwich shop. It's no surprise that we see him trying to deal with the stress. Here's another regular guy character who doesn't know what's going to hit him!

Now Isaac's story... holy smokes that's an opening! This poor guy, after everything he put up with over the past year, well I'm not going to spoil it for you but, he has amazing courage and strength of character. That he's still thinking about bringing good to the world after what he's been through shows what a great guy he is.

I loved seeing these two come together. They were perfect for each other and just what the other needed at the right time. It was a beautiful story.

It's bittersweet, this series is drawing to a close. I've only got When Doves Cry left.
