Publisher's summary

From New York Times best seller Corinne Michaels comes a sexy new standalone romance novel.

I'm not a one-night stand kind of woman. I'm especially not the woman who has a few drinks at a concert and ends up in bed with my childhood celebrity crush, Eli Walsh.

However, that's exactly where I find myself.

What's a girl to do after a drunken mistake? Run. I grab my clothes and get away from the powerful, irresistible, and best-sex-of-my-life superstar as fast as I can. His gorgeous green eyes, rock-hard body, and cocky smile have no place in my world. My life is complicated enough.

Someone forgot to tell him that.

Eli is relentless. Pushing his way into my heart, wearing me down, proving he's nothing like I assumed, and everything I need. But when my world shatters to pieces, he holds the broken bits together. Unwillingly, I fall desperately in love with him.

He made me think we'd have forever...I should've listened when he said we could only own tonight.

Andi!!!!

So the book was great, Corinne is great, the story was great. Now let's talk about Andis performance. I'm always a huge fan of hers, but she blew me away with this one. Her portrayal of Stephanie tore me to pieces. She deserves all the recognition it the world for this performance!!! 👏🏼🙌🏻

REALLY GOOD LISTEN BUTTTTT 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Any additional comments?

This book made me cry way too much. Though it was excellent I would not listen to it again. Only because I am not a cryer. I don't like books that bring out this type of emotion but if you love a tear jerker this is the book for you. And of course the narration was stellar.

Enthralling listen👍👍

I had no idea what a fantastic listening experience this would be. I have to give it two thumbs up and 5 stars because I absolutely loved this book!

This one is for every girl who's ever had a band crush. Ever wonder what it would be like to spend one night with your famous crush? That's exactly what happened to Heather. Eli Walsh from the band Three Blocks Down was Heather's teenage fantasy.

Flash forward years later when Heather is no longer "shak'in it down" at one of their shows. She's a responsible adult now who cares for her speacial needs sister, working as a cop. With her dignity to uphold, Heather's life has become pretty mundane after her divorce.

Her girlfriends think she needs a night out to kick her heels up and have some fun. They all end up at a Three Blocks Down concert. Heather has a few drinks and before you know it she's singing along and professing her love right in front of the stage where Eli notices. When Heather let's her hair down and takes a trip backstage, things really heat up🔥🔥🔥

I can't give everything away, but I will say... though it starts off fun and light hearted, this one does have plenty of depth to it. It's fun, sexy, serious, and sad too. Lot's of feelings packed in this listen.

I also thoroughly enjoyed the narration. Zachary and Andi both did an outstanding job!! Very rarely do I revisit a book in my library, this one however is worth coming back to.

✫✫ 5 Stars ✫✫

I really enjoyed this book! This story has it all from laughter, sympathy, steam and a sweet love story. Heather and Eli had chemistry from their first glance. He knew what he wanted and he went for it which I loved. I was rooting for them from the beginning because they both deserved to be happy. Heather is a cop which I loved but she also has had a bit of a sad life and Eli shows her that love is worth the chance of loss and heartbreak. The drama is low which is the cherry on top!

The narration was perfect! Zach & Andi are both incredible narrators and were cast perfectly for these characters.

Absolutely Loved It!

I throughly enjoyed this book. It really takes you through a sea of emotions. The stories characters are relatable. We all have a friend who is a wild/crazy, loving/compassionate or smart/sensible. As far as guys everyone has that one we all wished we kicked to the curb from the beginning. Then the cream of the crop comes into your life and helps you pick up the pieces in your life.
Loved this it's a full story emotional roller coaster = just like in "the real world" WAITING FOR MORE!!

Such an amazing story!!

How to even begin to describe how much I loved this book. Yes it is heartbreaking dealing with serious health conditions which is ONE major reason I loved this story (it hits close to home for me with Huntington's Disease) but it is so well done. There are plenty of fluffy parts too and for all of us have seen the boy band craze it hits those times too. It's a great book with mix of romances, tears, laughs and heartache.

The performance by Andi was so well done. I love Andi as an actor but this performance was one of her best yet. She had to perform someone with HD (health condition) which can be difficult since it deals with many facets and she hit them so well. I can't say enough about the performance. She also did an amazing job hitting the emotions of that character and also Heather who is dealing with the illness. Zach of course was also spot on in his performance and complimented Andi and her performance. I love these two together and they fit so well together in this book.

Love love love this book!

This is a wonderful story, by an enjoyable author, read by my two most favorite narrators. And it's about a couple in their 30's/40's - gotta love that too.

Not all that

I'm getting so sick and tired of Andy Ardnt's characters. She always plays dumb over dramatic rolls and then she reads a lot more than she should. To all authors that hire her to read, please do as all a favor and give her a different attitude in your books, not the same naive, over the top drama queen she always has to play.
