Publisher's Summary

With an irresistible blend of flashy style and offbeat humor, MaryJanice Davidson’s Undead books have become regular residents on the New York Times best-seller list.
Ninth in the series, Undead and Unfinished finds Vampire Queen Betsy Taylor slogging her way through the Book of the Dead. When Lucifer offers to give up all the book’s secrets, Betsy is intrigued. But there’s a catch, of course. For her part of the bargain, Betsy must take her half-sister, Laura, to Hell, so Laura can develop an appreciation for her dark heritage.

Half a book

I've listened to all of this series.....some have been better than others. This one has taken a lot of flack review-wise on Amazon. I have to agree with most of what is being said: Betsy seems more dumb and oblivious than ever. Although I did like the time travel elements of the story. The ending is shocking; a complete 180 in what you expect from this series. I really feel this is half a book, it ends at the peak of the plot-line. Unfinished is part of the title and I guess I should have taken that as a warning. I'm sure I would not have been so disappointed if I had the next in the series (i.e. the other half of this book) to read immediately after finishing this one. It's not like this book ends with a cliff-hanger so that you cant wait for the next one. It just stops, there isn't an ending. So my recommendation is to wait until next July and read the two together.....you'll be less pissed off that way.

Not too good

I have read every book in the series but this one just makes me wonder if i will read any more of them. The whole book was confusing and hard to follow and the ending was just depressing and a real let down. All the others in the series i enjoyed but It took me days just to get the disgusting afterimages of this one out my mind.
