An emotional story!

This was such an emotional story. We traverse the highs and lows of Zac's physical and emotional healing after being wounded in Africa. We follow in Amy's journeys as she deals with First her dad's illness then Zac's injury.
J.D. Hart did a wonderful job narrating this story. I truly enjoyed listening to this audiobook!

Ms. Hamilton's finest work yet!

I wish I could give this book more than a 5 star rating.
Being brought up as a military brat and later on I became a wife to a career military guy- I can say for fact that Sharon Hamilton has it right! You get a real sense of what it's like to be a SEAL and also as a spouse/girlfriend and even an ex-wife in this book.

Our H is badly wounded in an op and or H and h have issues to work through during his recovery. I can totally understand both his and her feelings and many parts of this book had me in tears. I know that this isn't the end to their story, I'm sure that they will be popping up in future books as will other characters and situations depicted in this book.
JD Hart did an amazing job as narrator. Through his voice you have the characters come to life.
