Even better than the first book!
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The men's voices were so old it sounded like Grace was falling in love with an 80 year old. It was really distracting. Same with the previous book...

Where’s the TOO HOT?
With a title like this I’m expecting a hot relationship. Not the gradual easing into a friendship sort of thing. Maybe I’m being too judgmental that nearly 4 hours into the book they finally get into the “too hot” business. Then AGAIN we go back into the introspection of each character of their childhood scars and how it affects their present relationship, blah, blah, and blah. I’m already tired of going back there. After all you can repeat things too often. My mind drifts off to why did they give this book this title?? Were they trying to spice it up maybe?? Yes that’s it!
My attention turns back to the book and Merry is anxious because her eyeliner just never looks good on her. UGH!!!!!! Do we have to go through this again? Oh my, she’s wearing her Wonder Woman t-shirt today.
Too really spice things up we can talk about the ghost town, in which, the only history other than pure nonsense such as replacing boards, fake vandalism, and creating brochures, is an icehouse. You would think that being a curator of a museum of an old ghost town there would be more interesting historical facts thrown in. Well I was hoping anyway.
As you can tell from my review so far I absolutely do not recommend this book unless you want to be bored to tears. I must commend the narrator. She did give it her very best, but the material just did not fly. After 5+ hours I couldn’t take anymore and I adjusted the narration speed to real fast. Use your credit on something else. There’s nothing too hot to handle about this one.
