Publisher's Summary

Vanessa Mazur knows she's doing the right thing. She shouldn't feel bad for quitting. Being an assistant/housekeeper/fairy godmother to the top defensive end in the National Football Organization was always supposed to be temporary. She has plans, and none of them include washing extra-large underwear longer than necessary.
But when Aiden Graves shows up at her door wanting her to come back, she's beyond shocked. For two years the man known as the Wall of Winnipeg couldn't find it in him to tell her good morning or congratulate her on her birthday. Now? He's asking for the unthinkable.
What do you say to the man who is used to getting everything he wants?

THIS IS HOW WRITING IS DONE!!! 5 STARS!!!

Mariana Zapta has a devoted fan in me. Her stories are relevant, interesting and more importantly very well written! The story of Vanessa and Aiden is not a love at first sight story. It is what she referred to once as a "slow burn". Non-the-less you will love this story if you are a die hard reader and love a good story based upon a solid relationship that was not easily built and not based on sexual attraction alone.

3 The Wall of Winnipeg and Me Stars

Don’t shot me, I liked it just fine I just didn't LOVVVEEE it like a lot of people did. And that’s totally fine right.

I loved Vanessa’s spunk. She had to have a good back bone for what she endured as a child. She didn't take no poop well she did, but she had her way of coping with it all. And I had so much respect for her when she did what she needed to do for herself and her career.

After reading the book I get why Aiden was the way he was truly, but I still didn't like it. Even now as I think back on the book he wasn't my favorite character his roommate/teammate Zach was more relatable.

One thing I did enjoy was how Aiden and Vanessa’s relationship grew from friendship into love that was really nice to see and read about. But I have to say it…it was wayyyyyy to slow moving for me.

As an audiobook 16hrs was to long for the paces of this book I enjoyed the story but it just didn't move fast enough. I felt my mind wondering then jumping back to the book and yeah not something you like to do when you’re in the middle of a book.

Callie Dalton as Vanessa just didn't do it for me she sounded way to young, I have listened to other audios by Callie and enjoyed them.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*
