Critic Reviews

"Wiggs’s talent is reflected in her thoroughly believable characters as well as the way she recognizes the importance of family by blood or other ties. Highly recommended.” (Library Journal)

Enjoyable

I selected one of the books the Lakeshore series on a lark from my local library and have gone on to read/listen to the entire Lakeshore Chronicles series. It's and enjoyable series when you are looking for light, easy reading/listening.

Moving tale ell told

I am sitting in front of my fireplace with gentle tears flowing down my face. The story of George Bellamy, his grandson, and the many other characters of the Avalon community is compelling and deeply moving. I had thought it would be morbid and clinging, but found instead a gripping, thrilling mystery, and many twists and turns in this elegant gentleman's battle with a vicious medical reality. It is the best of this author's stories to date and well worth reading. I highly recommend
