Versus not wanting to be home for the holidays...
Riley's world has been turned upside down. He's back at the one place that he never wanted to return to, and it looks like he may be staying longer than he planned. Taking over The Snowflake Inn was never his dream; it was his family's dream for him, and all Riley wants to do is cut his losses and leave. But one fiery redhead has him rethinking everything he had planned.
Both Grace and Riley had very different plans for their time at The Snowflake Inn, but with the magic of Christmas all around them and an attraction that they can't seem to ignore, this could be the perfect time and place for everyone's dream to come true.

I wanted to listen to this novella because I'm enjoying holiday reads around the holiday season. I've recently discovered this author thru the #AudibleRomance Package, so it felt like a natural progression for me to move from another one of this author's audios to this one.
> What I loved: the North Carolina/bed-and-breakfast setting; the secondary relationship between Ben and Corinne; the amount of "holiday" sprinkled throughout the story
> What I didn't love: Riley's poor attitude; lack of character development
I'll be honest: I do not mind predictable holiday romances - they remind me of Hallmark movies and actually are pretty great. But this one just wasn't one of my favorites. I'm pretty forgiving of behavior in romance stories, but the leading male was such a jerk in the first few chapters -- I couldn't buy his sudden character redemption. The leading female fell for him far too quickly to be believable to me. Perhaps if these characters were a little bit more well-rounded, it would have been a little more believable.
