Nasir has always been a dutiful son. Like his brothers, he gives his all to the family business, which leaves little time for love. His mother, though, is eager for her sons to settle down. When she drags him to a matchmaker, Nasir can hardly believe that Cassandra is the woman hired to find him a wife. After the unforgettable night of passion they shared, Nasir isn’t sure how to react. But Cassandra seems determined to keep things professional, and before Nasir knows it, she’s arranged his first date. Nasir is soon caught up in business and blind dates, and yet he can’t get Cassandra off his mind.
Although Cassandra is convinced she’s not the woman he wants, Nasir has other ideas. But with a baby on the way and pressure mounting from Nasir’s mother, will her fear of repeating the past stand in the way of a perfect future?

Nasir & Cassandra
I always know when I start to listen to one of Leslie North's "Sheikh" books that Im going to be transported to a world very different from the one I inhabit total escapism is what you usually get.
In this case the story is based in the US so not so much of a great escape but still very enjoyable. The two main characters meet at the wedding of one of Cassandra's successful matchings, she's a matchmaker. Nasir is the eldest son of a very wealthy family, he is blessed with both money and good looks, he is also, shall we say cursed with a mother who wants hm married a.s.a.p? To that end she has signed him up with a matchmaking service to find him a wife!
Cassandra and Nasir are instantly drawn to each other and have a fantastic night of hot sex, then a further date, they are perfect together and Nasir wants to let their relationship run its course to see where it leads them but because of long time hang ups in Cassandra's past and the fact that Nasir has been signed up as a client only days after their first encounter she refuses all his advances.
I'm not going to say anymore because I don't want to spoil your enjoyment with 'spoilers' but this is a really well written story with excellently matched characters which flows really well and ends on a lovely note with a beautifully written HEA. The narration by Roberto Scarlato is very well done and for me hit just the right note.
I was gifted a copy of this book and am voluntarily writing my review.

Loved the narration!!
Great story. Nice continuation of a series. Liked this narrator's voice and character voices more than the 1st in the series. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
