Okay story, ok narration

Not my favorite Shana Galen, and I've heard much better from Beverly Crick also. The plot wasn't bad, but some of the details were not really believable. The characters didn't seem that deep, or go through any kind of transformative experience to explain why they fell in love. Some of the vocal choices were odd and annoying, something I've never felt listening to Beverly Crick before.

A fun read\listen. Enjoyed the story.

This was a fun read. I enjoyed it, not as much as the previous book Earls Just Want to Have Fun, that book was amazing. If you haven't listened to that book I highly 100% recommend it.

I really liked Susanna she was sweet with spunk. Tired of being sheltered and protected gets a couple of days with a thief in the rookeries. Where there is no sheltering her from what happens there. We get some funny moments for sure since she is pretty much clueless to life away from her overbearing mother, the ton and propriety.

I liked Gideon for the most part. I do wish he would have been a bit more bad azz and arrogant, not to much arrogance but a little more. He is definitely not your typical hero in HR story.

The chemistry between Susanna and Gideon was good and did feel genuine and not forced. There are a some great sex scenes some more hot and steamy than others, and were very well written.

The story line and plot was good, the story flowed very well and there is lots and lots of great dialogue throughout the entire book.

As for the narration. For the most part it was very good. Beverly Crick does a good job on the cockney accents for sure. However, I do wish she would work on the men's voices more. Particularly the hero's. In this story Gideon sounded kind of dimwitted at times instead of strong and manly with that cockney accent. Otherwise she did a great job. Susanna had a wonderful voice and her reading voice is very pleasant. She also reads with emotion, whispering, yelling, yawning, chewing, and she even sang. LOL If she made the hero's voice a little better (even in the previous book the hero sounded to feminine) She would be a 10 star narrator. IMO.

The Rogue You Know

Very well narrated bringing the characters to life. This love story let's you see a "perfect" daughter turn into a sassy, independent free soul all in her adventure to find love. Great story by Shana Galen as book 2 of this series. I was so hoping this Rogue would have his chance at love. 5 Stars for both Author and Narrator. 💗

Her Rogue

Loved Gideon’s and Susannas story! Susanna was always a dutiful daughter but one night meeting a house breaker changes everything. Gideon was running for his life when he snuck into a Mayfair house to hide when he comes in contact with a Glym Stick and everything changed! A night of adventure turns into so much more for Susanna. A wonderful story and the Narrator was fantastic.

A GOOD FOLLOW UP TO THE FIRST BOOK

This book was also just a light and happy listen without a lot of angst of who loves who back and forth...just enough steamy parts to make it loving and the narrator was good as well. What more can you ask for in a book for a lazy afternoon of listening pleasure...on to book #3. I certainly recommend this book to those who don't want to have to think too hard about who's coming and going (too many characters).

Tangled in London

The book is OK, I guess, except that the initial premise comes straight from the Disney movie Tangled, even down to the cantankerous pet and the double-crossing thief, jewels, and rebellious daughter. That lack of originality made the first couple of hours boring and I almost stopped. Instead, I fast forward through those parts and managed to finish it. I liked Books 1 and 3 better - at least the stories weren’t so obvious a copy.

Too unbelievable

I had a hard time finishing this book. I found the premise to be unbelievable. The narrator's voice for Gideon was annoying.
