Excellent Tale in the Series
Roseanna White continues to offer exciting and entertaining stories as she continues her epic about rare diamonds, greed, and intrigue, only this time she includes the highlands of Scotland. I thoroughly enjoy her writing and Ms Pearce continues to bring the story to life. Good combination and a must for romance readers.

Meaningful love and drama
Clean and wholesome. Her exciting mystery, dramatic plot, characters good and evil, and thorough storytelling reminds us that love is action not just emotion. And love and faith triumph even in the valleys.

Great, as always!
I do love Roseanna M. White's stories and writing style. Always some humor, mystery, love, adventure, family devotion, action, and nuggets of faith to take away.
More beloved characters I will miss & hope to see in the 3rd book of this series!
Oh, and Liz Pierce is one of my new favorite narrators!!! This series is the first time I've heard her work but what a linguistic wonder she is! How she managed Scottish/Gaelic, Irish/Gaelic, French, British/English, and then English in all 3 of those accents, plus keeping track of who spoke what... well, it's beyond my comprehension! I just loved it all!

Exceptional Series
I loved this series! The characters are complex and deep. And it’s so refreshing to have characters with common sense! So many books are missing this. The stories are compelling, not predictable. And the narrator: Liz Pearce is a master! Her accents are beautiful and her storytelling is far more a performance piece than just having a book read to you. Especially in this book, going back and forth between Scottish and English, capturing the nuances of the characters emotions, all in fluid conversation. Brilliantly done!

Excellent!
Narrator brilliantly brings life to this well written story! Loved the characters, the faith portrayed, and seeing the rare depth of character that caused two strangers to fight for what is right... to fight for love.

One of tne best books I've gotten on Audible!
This is the second book I've read/listened too by Roseanna M White, and I have loved both of them. i love that she includes fairh and prayer as a main stay of the main characters. The narration was awesome and believable accents. There are lessons to glean from the characters practical faith and God's presence in our lives if we listen to His voice. I highly recommend this book.

Great story!
I loved the first in the series, and was thrilled to discover this sequel. Expertly written, well developed characters and plot, full of mystery, romance, spiritual themes. And the narrator’s accents were superb!
