Novella
This is a side story from the MacKenzie's series. It takes place in and around Surrender, MT and features a few of the main Mackenzie cast.
Overall the story was okay. I didn't really feel the criminal aspect was successfully concluded however. If the gang was so sure about the box it seems they would have done more about it.
Also, for all the anger and hurt between the couple, it was pretty much smooth sailing from the get go.

GREAT SEEING ZEKE
Another Mackenzie episode, which I hadn't read from my library & I really enjoyed Seeing how Zeke McBride comes back to Surrender on an undercover mission, though it wasn't really as the People of Surrender knows him & The Love of his life Mia Russo, is there & she's the one he's come to see, 1st off he wants her back as they shouldn't have parted 7yrs prior when she left the police force & left him, well he's the one that left.
But heck she JUST KNEW he was there AS SOON, as he came to the door without actually knowing he was there & what a connection that is.
So he's there knowing she's got what he needs, well his unit does as he sent the person who sold it to her. And she knows he knows that she's lying when she claims she hasn't a clue. But after she Biker Club was looking for it she knew there was something about it, other than it being a beautiful antique.
anyways it is another great Mackenzie episode, though pretty short, there was just enough there getting to know these 2 BUT it would be GREAT if we see more of them & how Zeke settles in surrender..... & THEIR HOT Nights/days, which ever way ππ

Steamy Hot
What else should you expect from the queen of steam??
Two new additions to the MacKenzie clan even if they are not blood family, they are adopted family.
Personally, I felt it was a little short. Yes, it is a novella but I felt that their story wasn't quite finished.
The narration was great, as always!
