The Promise
The Friessen Family can be amazing and annoying. I absolutely love Becky and her husband! But their sons can be a bit over the top.
Diana’s mother makes another appearance in this short story. And she is torn between wanting to believe her and knowing she shouldn’t. Jed is so overprotective that he tries bullying her mother away. (Which seems to be how the boys handle all issues) The Friessen boys/men seem to have lots of issues when things don’t go their way. I really did not like it, appreciate how he handled the issue of his wife wanting to return to work. His solution was to beat her down mentally and get her pregnant instead of talking it out like they eventually do. I love that his mom (Becky) calls him out on this stuff!
Nice job on the narration!

Crazy family, controlling man
Any additional comments?
Jed and Diana only thought they were through with his crazy family after his mother passed away. However little did they know that the mother had set out other little plans that were taking place from Beyond the Grave. I quickly fell into this story the narrator did an amazing job and kept the characters alive through each individual book in the series. the narrator made me wish the book was never going to end. Hopefully we get to hear more from them as a collaboration in the future. I have to say I'm not a big fan of Jed he is very old school I am man you will listen to me which gets quite annoying especially since he got his way in the end.
