Overall the story was entertaining and enjoyable. It was better written than many of the shorter shifter books out there. Romance, steamy scenes, suspense and a HEA.

The story could have used a little more detail and the characters needed to be a bit more developed. They were just there. Nothing that really made you root for them. Is this a standalone book? The ending seemed rushed. There could have been at least an epilogue to pull together some of things that were left out of their HEA.

Basic story of rich shifter meets girl, has one night stand, she gets pregnant, they are being threatened by another group and they fall in Happy Ever After.

Chapters out of order. It really throws off the whole story. The story was flowing really smoothly up to that point. I would have returned the book based on this alone.

CiCi Kay does a good job with the narration. Pleasant voice. Easy to listen to for long periods of time.Clearly spoken. Smooth even pace. Not much difference in the character voices. Some character voices are a bit different but for the most part they sound the same. I like a little more difference in the character voices. Overall though an enjoyable narrator.

I was given this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator or publisher at my request and I provided this voluntarily review.

Worth the read.

The story is pretty good. I would have preferred more character development but still interesting enough to check out.
