Couldn't Stop Listening!
I would recommend this audiobook to a friend, yes. Theodora Taylor is a great writer and I listened to this audiobook as if I hadn't read the book already. It was so hard for me to pause it and go about life. I really liked it and I know others will too.
The best thing I liked about this story was the constant feeling of suspense. There was always something that had you thinking in the back of your mind "what happened then".
My favorite character, performed by Leyna Baltimore, was Layla. I really like how she embodied Layla's character. Layla is sweet, nice, and polite. And her voice fit Layla, in my opinion.
I did have an extreme reaction to this book. I was angry at a certain character because there was no way I would have put up with the things he made Layla put up with. He was heartless.
In addition, I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review. I found that I didn't want to stop it. It was a great experience.
