Could Not Put it Down

It's one of those books that you can't put down, everywhere I went I was listening and so excited about "what's next". Not only were the performances top-notch, but the story was also all that and quite enjoyable. I really enjoyed this book and love the fact that it brought if some of my favorite families. That's one thing I love about Brenda Jackson's books, she keeps families who are enjoyable inclusive and connected and that's what will make me keep buying her books.

Another Rose finds his love mate!

Jonathan Rose falls for the beautiful, vivacious yet troubled Octavia Davenport! He pursues her for his heart while her troubled spirit tries to keep him in the friend zone even though her heart desires him as a mate. While allowing the police to use her home as a rest station for volunteers looking for Octavia's neighbor's missing granddaughter. Turns out Octavia is suffering from the guilt associated with her parent's death as a defiant teen and afraid her night trauma will run Jonathan away. Jonathan however is there to stay and once Octavia admits to herself and Jonathan in front of his entire family, she and Jonathan join themselves together joining his other married brothers. This is another great Stephanie Norris romance novels about the famous Rose family of Chicago. Stephanie's characters makes me refer to them as if they are a real living breathing group of wealthy high achieving handsome principled Black men. I true love this series as I do the Heart of a Valentine series! Great job Stephanie a really great job and I love the narrators and how their narration makes the book come to life.

Lots of adventure and action that captured my attention. After awhile the narrator's voice became the storyline allowing the romance and adventure to take center stage. Enjoyed it
