Publisher's Summary

Penny Wills is devastated after the murder of her father. Things get worse when she learns he arranged a marriage for her to a man she doesn't love. Her only way out is to catch the villain who killed him and collect the reward money.
Marshal Garrett Kincaid can't believe Penny has followed him for three days without his knowledge. Now, he has no choice but to take the prim little hellion with him on a manhunt.
They track the killer together until their attraction to each other pushes their passion to the limit. Anger and embarrassment send Penny sneaking off in the middle of the night. By dawn, she's riding, pursued by an outlaw, a spurned fiancé, and one irate marshal.

Great characters and a good laugh

The character interactions in this book were fabulous. Penny is smart and determined and she's not going to be the shrinking violet everyone seems to think she is, Garrett is strong and protective, he;s making the world safer by capturing criminals one at a time. This however leaves the two at cross purposes, with laugh out loud results.

There's great chemistry, sweet romance and and a chase across the outback, what more could you want?

The narration was disappointing, the character voices were terrible, the female voices struck me first, not even a little realistic, but then I heard the voice for Garrett and I wondered how I was going to manage to listen to the whole book. It's sad because the pace and flow of the delivery were good, but the voices... You need to listen to the sample before buying, you might find them OK, if not, get the eBook.

I received a free copy of this book from the author and/or narrator and/or publisher and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.
