Publisher's Summary

Lust - or is it love - at first sight.
Ex-police detective Mike Carlton considers bodyguard work a necessary evil - it pays the bills. But he changes his mind as soon as attorney Gwyn Wells waltzes into his office. A stalker? Yes, he'll guard her all night long if necessary. All he has to do is convince this uptight attorney with a fondness for Italian shoes and a propensity for getting in trouble, that he's The Man for the Job...and the man for her.

BORING characters and BAD Narrator

What disappointed you about The Man for the Job?

No feeling of connection between characters. Just kind of the facts and no feeling.

What could Marie-Nicole Ryan have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Less number of characters and/or more development of the main characters.

What didn’t you like about Aria McKenna’s performance?

Her style was the whole book.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointed to have wasted a credit.

Any additional comments?

Thought the ending was good. Just took too long to get there.

nails on a blackboard...

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I don't believe this book was that great, for anyone. It seemed to be irritating, threes narrator's voice impersonation was horrible.

Would you ever listen to anything by Marie-Nicole Ryan again?

Maybe, but not with this narrator.

How could the performance have been better?

By using a different narrator.

What character would you cut from The Man for the Job?

None, characters were fine.

Any additional comments?

A bad narrator really runs the book for me. Maybe of the narrator had not tried using an English accent might have made the listening of this book bare able.
