Publisher's summary

The Love Trials 3 is the final book in the explosive Love Trials Serial.

There will be one last book that ties up the ending of The Love Trials, The Ex Games, and The Private Club!

Love. Sex. Games. Betrayal.

The Lovers’ Academy drew Nancy in with a letter. A letter that symbolized love. Only, Nancy had no idea that the reason she’d received an invitation had nothing to do with love. When Nancy met Jaxon Cade, she was confused by her animal attraction to him. When he became her teacher, he began to show her what love and seduction was all about. However, there was a dangerous air that surrounded him that both thrilled and scared her.

Then someone at the Lovers’ Academy died and Nancy’s world was turned upside down. All of a sudden she has no idea who to trust and what the Lovers’ Academy is all about. While her heart is broken, she needs to ensure that her brain is on at all times. Nancy realizes that she doesn’t really know any of the people surrounding her and that the journey of love and games is only just beginning. One wrong move and Nancy might find out that she’s the latest victim in the trials of love.

What in the actual Eff?

I am so done with this author.
Seriously this is the second series I've listened to and the ending has been the worst let down ever.
There's such a great build-up and your mind is boggling and what the heck's going to happen now and then nothing.
All of J.S. Cooper's heroines so far are ridiculous. They are Beyond dumb. And complete and utter fools.
Such a let-down.

WTF was that!!

Alright, I finished it, that is about all I have to say about the story. Seriously not happy with the outcome. There is just something about this author that draws me in and gets me reading serials that I really do not love. It is weird but I just could not stop reading.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Marami Hung, who is fantastic. She has a great energy and sucks you further into the book. She is a big part of why I kept listening and needed to finish the serial. Her tone is pleasing and the energy she puts into it is engaging. It is a nice pace, but I like it a little quicker, so I punched up the speed.

*** I hope this review was useful to you and helped your decision to read or not read this book. I love reading and sharing my opinions with other readers. I listen at double speed; all my impressions of the narration are from that setting. Thanks for taking the time to read my review! Left me feeling disappointed

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

No one.

Would you ever listen to anything by J. S. Cooper and Helen Cooper again?

I believe in second chances, so yes I would.

What does Marami Hung bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She truly captures the heart of Nancy, and malevolence of Jaxon in her tones and expressions. I love her, she awesome, and gets 5 stars from me!

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Love Trials 3?

The whole ending and redo.

Any additional comments?

The first two books of this short series were very good, however the last one fell short big time! The main character Nancy never finds out what Jaxon was really up to, she never questions the conversations she has overheard that made what was really going on obvious, and I don't believe Nancy's character should have been written like that in the very end, when in the second book, she comes across stronger than that.
