Publisher's summary

There are three little words most guys don't want to hear on the first date. Not those... I mean these: "knock me up."

This single gal has had enough of the games, the BS, and the endless chase. I know what I want most, and it's not true love. It's a bun in the oven, and I'm not afraid to hit up my sex-on-a-stick coworker to do the job. Ryder is gorgeous, witty, and wild - and he's also a notorious commitmentphobe. That makes him the perfect candidate to make a deposit in the bank of me. I won't fall for him, he won't fall for me, and there's no way baby will make three. Right?

There are four words every guy wants to hear on the first date: "your place or mine?"

When my hot-as-sin coworker makes me a no-strings-attached offer that involves her place, my place, any place - as well as any position - I can't refuse. Besides, I've got my reasons to take her up on her deal even with her one big condition.

There's no way I'll want more from one woman than any position, anywhere, any night. Except...what if I do?

AHHH... BLISS AFTER A SOLID GOLD LISTEN

Lauren Blakely knocked it out of the park with this story.. but then she does so with every single flawless book she writes and that's why this talented Author's books are an auto-download for me. Because I know her storylines will be refreshingly different, her characters will be loveable, the sex will be hot, there'll be humor, it'll be a slow slide to greatness and the hero will be a guarded masterpiece just waiting for a strong woman.. the right woman to walk into his life and rock his world.. and this book didn't disappoint.

Two radio gurus who dole out relationship words of wisdom daily but take many months to see what's been right under their noses the whole time.. love. Everything was well balanced, well paced and well written so I got to drool, got to grin, got to swoon, got to cheer them on and got to sigh happy sighs after a very touching Epilogue that finished a very sweet, very entertaining and very enjoyable story.

Added to that is the awesome narration by Andi and Sebastian who skilfully brought this dual POV story to life and gave it wings.. wings that took this book to the very top of my ever growing pile of books by Ms. Blakely - but then again I say that after each one.

Worth a credit? No doubts, no hesitation and no maybes here.. it wasn't dark, it wasn't emotionally draining, it wasn't deep and it wasn't full of suspense either.. but what it was was chick lit/rom com at its absolute finest - and YES very creditworthy.

Knock Out!!!

I have read a few books where this topic just didn't come across that great. That is NOT the case here. I loved watching them fall in love and how honest they were with each other. I enjoyed watching Ryder be super sweet and a man's man in one fell swoop...swoon!!!! Most of all I loved the multiple epilogs so I get to hear how it all panned out. Great job Lauren. You NAILED this book.

4.5 overall

Great characters / easy to like. Lauren Blakely always makes me laugh. She's so damn funny. And the best 2 narrators ever-and together--is just the total package and makes for a wonderful escape.

Loved this one!

I really enjoyed this one. I normally do enjoy Lauren Blakely's books. And, with these 2 narrators, what's not to love? Still, some I like more than others. And this one for me is up there with The Sexy One, which was holding the spot for my favorite so far by this author. This was a really nice listen, with characters that were well done. I liked them all. I love having a story where it's not just boy meets girl, have a little angst or baggage, then get together. While that's there, I love the fact that Nicole was not the typical woman who thinks getting married and having kids is the ultimate of life. I really like when 2 independent people can come together, but they weren't necessarily looking for that. I especially like it in a female lead. I like seeing variety in character types and Lauren Blakely does that. We don't all walk around spending every waking moment wanting to be in a relationship or trying to find a husband. Some of us will function just fine without one. So, when you do find one, you know it's the real deal and not someone you grabbed because being attached is so important. And, yes, I'm married. But, I was just fine when I wasn't. Anyway, just really enjoyed these characters.

Fun & Original!

I love the writing style of Lauren Blakey and find her books to be fun and humorous. Andi Arndt and Sebastian York are two awesome narrators. They bring so much to the book with their performance. One can feel the attitudes and emotions. I also love how this book is a standalone, yet has mention of characters from another book (Penny, Shortcake, Ruby) without taking away anything from either book. Another aspect of this book that I love is that I didn't feel down or have book hangover when it was done. Lauren's books never leave me feeling blah. I will definitely listen to this book again and look for more by this author and narrators. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher, and or narrators.

The Knocked Up Plan

I enjoyed the heck out of this book. I loved the characters; I loved the relationship the characters have.

The banter is fantastic. I just loved this book. I especially loved the Epilogues.

I loved that Nicole knows what she wants and goes after it. I love that once she knew who and what she wanted she might have been nervous sure but she went after it.

I love that Ryder didn’t scoff or laugh in her face. I love that he grew into a character I love so much. He might be a favorite of mine... Heck, all of Lauren’s male characters are my favorites.

I lovvvved that they communicate so freaking well and the dog. Can we talk about their dogs for a minute? Too stinking cute!

I loved the ups and down Nicole goes through and how “real” the pregnancy hormones’ were. Cause yes really pregnant women go through it all.
And SebYo and Andi kill it with this audiobook. LOVED IT!!

Lovely knock up

What did you love best about The Knocked Up Plan?

It was very light and fun read that made me smile all the way through it and get the best feel good feeling ever.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ryder and to see how much he changed from the start of this book to its end.

What does Andi Arndt and Sebastian York bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Andi did wonderful job with how she sounded as Nicole and also as the other characters.
Sebastian was a magnificent Ryder and I really enjoyed listening to his performance.

Their voices awoke this book to life and I enjoyed listening to every second of it.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A wonderful knock up!

Any additional comments?

The last few chapters of the book were the highlights of this story for me.
When both Ryder and Nicole realized what is out the most importance for them and they went all in to get it and hold on to it.

I really loved this story so much.It started as something "casual" and grew into something deep and beautiful that most of us yarn for and cherish once it happens.I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a weel written feel good book with amazing characters to fall in love with.
