Publisher's summary

It’s a war of wills between stubborn and sexy Josh Faraday and Kat Morgan. A fight to the bed. Arrogant, wealthy playboy Josh is used to getting what he wants. And what he wants is Kat Morgan.

The minute Josh Faraday meets feisty, vivacious Kat Morgan, he wants her. Not for a relationship, of course. He doesn’t do those. He wants her in his bed. But, to his shock and extreme frustration, Kat won’t play by Josh’s rules like all the others. No, this stubborn woman declares she won't so much as kiss Josh until he divulges some highly personal information.... But it's something Josh has never told anyone, and won't be telling Kat. Not over his dead body, no matter how gorgeous and sexy she is.

But the chemistry between the pair is explosive, scorching hot electricity like nothing he’s felt before. Oh, God, he’s got to get a taste. He figures all he has to do is wear the sexy woman down with is patented “playboy razzle dazzle” - show her the hotness she’s missing out on and she’ll cave, like all the rest.... The only problem with that strategy? It’s Kat’s strategy, too: she plans to wear Josh down and get what she wants too.

It’s a war of wills. A match to the bed. Who will crack first? And when they do, will either of their hearts be on the line?

Infatuation is first book of the Josh and Kat Trilogy. The next two books are Revelation and Consummation, to be heard in order. Infatuation is set in the same world as The Club Trilogy and The Morgan Brothers Series, but you do not have to hear either series first to devour this white-hot love story about Josh Faraday and Kat Morgan.

Listeners 18+ due to graphic language and adult situations.

Review of Entire Storyline for Josh and Kat

These last 3 books follow Josh and Kat and the first book does overlap some of the books on Jonas and Sarah, but for the most part you are getting a look through the side of Josh and Kat so it isn't an exact replica of the other books you've already listened to. I have to say I enjoyed Josh and Kat more than I did Jonas and Sarah. Josh and Kat just had this chemistry that was insane.

Josh Faraday is Jonas Faraday's twin brother and business partner and Kat is Sarah's best friend. These books are filled with major laugh out loud moments and intense heartbreaking moments. The Playboy and the Party-Girl with a hyphen had me hooked once I met them in Jonas and Sarah's books. This is one couple you can't help but fall in love with. Their rapport is undeniable and their banter is hilarious and addicting.

It is in this series that you get introduced into Kat Morgan's family and instantly fall in love with them. Thankfully, there is an entire series on the Morgan Brothers. I've already listened to the first 4 books and can't wait for the last one to come out this year on the final Morgan Brother, Dax.

Overall, I loved this wrap up to this series and storyline on Jonas and Sarah and Josh and Kat. Luckily, you still see them in all the Morgan Brothers books so this isn't the last of them.

As far as narration, I thought Lauren Rowe and John Lane did an awesome job.

Loved it

I really like the book! But I think they could've chosen better voices for the characters. Kate voice (Lauren) was a little bleh for me. Same as Josh's voice. I also didn't like the fact that they made Kat seem like a slut. But overall the book was great! I do want to read the next book!

Great story!!

Any additional comments?

I listened to this book on Audible. It was released early there because of some issue Audible has with releasing the books of indie authors. I tried really hard to wait until the official release date, but I'm weak. I really stink at reviewing books that I love because they usually devolve into "OMG!!! I FREAKING LOVED THIS BOOK!!! YAAAAASSSSS!!!" or some such nonsense nonsense. In an effort to avoid the inevitable devolution, I'll keep this short. Lauren Rowe has quickly become one of my favorite authors. Though I think I'm a bit outside of her target demographic age-wise, I have no difficulty identifying with her characters. Her writing is smart and witty, and I really like her use of language. Oh, and Lauren's books are freaking HOT. I am very much looking forward to the next ones in this series, while at the same time, I'm kind of hesitant to read them because I'm not ready to let the characters go. I will OF COURSE get them when they are released and devour them just as voraciously as always, but I might feel a little sad about it :)

PHENOMENAL...... SIMPLY PHENOMENAL

There really should be a sixth star, a Gold star, to be given only when a book surpasses all others and reaches the pinnacle of listening experiences - a talented gifted author delivers a mesmerizing unforgettable story which is brought to life by great narration. And, if that were the case, then this listen would, IMO, get the Gold star because it quite simply blew me away.

For a while it follows alongside Jonas and Sarah's story about finding and catching the Criminals that are illegally running The Club and then it moves the storyline forward as clues are pieced together, more shocking revelations are stumbled across and they all come to the decision that they are way way way out of their depths. But the 'catch the bad guys' is secondary to the main romance driven story of Jonas' drool-worthy, handsome, tattooed and sexy Brother Josh (aka The Playboy) and Sarah's BFF the beautiful, feisty and fun loving Kat (aka The Party Girl). When these two are introduced, the mutual attraction is instant, mind blowing, all consuming and you can almost here the ding ding ding of the Jackpot...... but Playboy Josh has finally met his match, his equal and his Achilles Heel.... because Kat has claws.

Something Josh says has Kat wanting, needing and desperate to read Josh's Application to The Club so she gives him an ultimatum and, at the start, it was just curiosity, a game they played but, as time went by and they grew closer, it became a deep desire to understand him and get to know him better. The ultimatum was no kissing and no sex until he handed over his Application..... but Josh wasn't going to give in to this sexual Terrorist's threats and demands, oh no he'd rather walk away. One week later and they were reunited but now both were more desperate, both were more frustrated and both were more determined to win..... and they both stooped to crazy levels to achieve it. Which led to an intense and insane build-up of lust coupled with emotional need which manifested into endless amounts of slick, smooth, very funny and quick witted banter/texts, loads of dirty talk, some baring of souls and a seismic sexual explosion that was way waaaay off the charts when one of them finally gave in. The sex was like lava..... molten hot, steamy and all consuming.

I was totally and utterly lost in this intense and well written listen..... the characters and plot line have consumed me and I'm frantically writing this review eager to move on to Part II in this Trilogy - although I'm frustrated too because I thought it was just a Duet and now I have to wait for Part III to be released (sob sob). IMO, to get the best from this mind-blowingly awesome series, it would be best to start at book 1, get the background story and deliciously work your way through each and every one of them. Dual POV's and the narrators were great which brought the characters, and all their mixed up emotions, to life..... and made this a very enjoyable listen.

Worth a credit? Never mind creditworthy..... this is Oscar worthy!!

OMG Cat and Josh

Omg I am devouring this series. The back and forth between Cat and Josh is amazing; it’s funny, touching, intriguing. And OMG we still don’t know what Josh XXXXXXXXXXX (<- fill that in if you’ve read the book). Looking for to the remaining books.

The narration on Lauren Rowe’s books are great. She does the female narration herself; though I normally find it obnoxious when authors do this, she actually has a gift for it and is apparently multi-talented. The male narration on this was also very good.

Spellbinding

I love Lauren Rowe novels and her narration is the icing on the cake. The plots are great but I especially enjoy the fun her voice gives to the characters. Netflix is not even in my vocabulary when I am on a multi book binge. Best ever!
