Publisher's Summary

Ever wonder how much your life would change if you won a million dollars? Well, that fantasy is about to become reality for one lucky winner of the new reality game show The Haunting. Six people will enter the contest, but not everyone will win. In fact there can only be one winner. A drug dealer, an exotic dancer, a drug addict, an entrepreneur, a district attorney, and a rich kid are each desperate in some way, whether they need the money or are looking for something different and need breaks from their boring everyday lives. It may seem that these contestants have nothing in common, but that's not the case. They have one very important thing in common: their desperation to win the prize. But winning the money is going to be anything but easy. Not only will they have to spend a full 24 hours together in a haunted mansion, but they will have to overcome their weaknesses and make alliances with their competitors just to survive.
The many people who have visited Waverly Mansion have gone missing and never returned home to their loved ones. Are these contestants so desperate that they would risk their lives just to win money? A million dollars can mean the difference between life and death to some people, but there are many questions you need to ask yourself. Is the money worth the torment and anguish you will have to endure in order to win? What about your life? Is dying the price you are willing to pay in order to win that amount of money? Can these people survive long enough to claim the prize? Or will their desperation take hold of them and sabotage the others' chances at winning the game? Who deserves to win the money when no one is really the person he or she appears to be?

What would you do to change your circumstance? What if there was a way to make an “easy” Million…Tax FREE… Could you? Would you?
Kelly is a stripper wanting to get in to med school. Her friend Tina was flipping through channels and Kelly saw the casting call for a reality game show. Waverly Mansion, who can last the longest in the house wins. Tina convinces Kelly to audition.

Jace works the streets, as drug dealer. Feared by the streets he works. His mother is very ill and dying and the money has run out. His brother saw the ad and saved the number for Jace to audition.
He doesn’t want to be the bad guy but what can he do, he knows too much to get out.
When these two meet, it’s funny and not all at the same time. I don’t want to give it away but she is a little repressed I think she is really focused on his crotch area.
Love when Kelly walks in to the cast room her confidence is EPIC. I wouldn’t judge a book by the cover with her she has some big balls.

She totally puts Jace in his place at breakfast. His confidence to that he will win got to her…. I totally fist pumped the air when she got the drop on him. That was AWESOME!
Then her convo with herself..

“Oh my god, did I lick his ear? Holy sh*t I did. What the f*ck is wrong with me?”

I died laughing she totally did and it was sooooooo good. Lmao
I don’t want to give much away but it only gets better from there and the sex scene ohhh yeah raw and rough just the way it should be. These two really make a great team. Until they don't I wasn't a fan of him at the end I get why he wanted to keep him self "safe" from emotional entanglements but after there night together... I won't give it away but great listen for sure :)

Also can I just say the narrator Lou Schocken… that voice… lordy be. Definitely keep your day job ;)
Hey you were all thinking it..

Lou made this book even sexier

Would you listen to The Haunting again? Why?

Hell yes I would, listening to Lou is just heavenly.

What did you like best about this story?

The way Lou jumped from character to character... not only did he just read the book, but each character had it's own voice,as performed by Lou. He did such a good job that I wasn't confused as to who was talking at the time.

Which character – as performed by Lou Schocken – was your favorite?

I loved all of the charcaters performed by Lou, but my all time favourite would have to be Jase... when he was reading out Jase's parts, I had to pause them & re-listen, it was truly sinful & delicious all at the same time.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Not everything is as it seems

Any additional comments?

Please Nicole have Lou as the narrater of ALL your audiobooks, he just makes your books soooo much better. What I had read was amazing & what I had listened to made that amazing book become spell binding.
