Good read, Could have been better:-)

So i thrive on stories that are first person Narrative, So i seek all paranormal romances that has it written this way hence i had to listen to this one, especially since Jennifer O donnell was Narrating... I mean, who doesn;t like her style of Narration right!!!
I must be honest though, although the story is an interesting one... meh... yeah... I just found the flippen Main Character so Annoying at times... I just couldn't relate to her whinnying and wanting someone else's boyfriend... and also her voice... No man... I wish she had more of a stronger personality... I mean girls are not made that way anymore. I absolutely fell in love with the other characters, the twins being my favorite. and wolf, yummy... So thats my 2 cents

Narrating.

I like the story itself but the female narrating the book has an irritating voice.

Title should be Guardians: The Brat

The girl in the story is too much of a "poor poor me, I'm a victim" character. She literally asks the guy out in front of his gf and has the nerve to say she (the gf) is crazy for attacking her. I just couldn't finish the book. It might be interesting to others, just not my cup of tea. I only gave it 3 stars for the narration.

I enjoyed the overall story, but . . . . .

The story was enjoyable in general, but I probably won't be buying the second book. The writing, while not bad, was very juvenile, as were the emotions of the characters. I do understand that they were all juveniles, but it was a bit ridiculous. The story also came to no resolution, and apparently will be continued in the second volume. This is a no-no in my estimation. If authors want to continue a series with additional adventures using the same characters, that is great, but each book should be complete in itself. That does not happen here, so be prepared to buy all three books to actually finish the one.

Enticing

I am a 23 year old romance reader who likes a little bit of mystery, and a whole lot of love. Now, with that said, I started this book and thought that I would not be able to finish.. as it centers around high school age students and it isn’t as relatable and there for not as exciting... boy was I wrong! This story had me begging for more. I have to get the rest of the series. I have to know what happens. The words drew me in, and the storyline kept me entertained. I’m in love with the characters, and can not wait to know what happens next.

Mixed Feelings

The plot was interesting enough to carry me to the end of the book. I love fiction/fantasy with romance in the mist, and this book has them in spades. However the main characters can be so frustrating and flawed, it make them less likeable the further the book went, the fact they are teenagers can only excuse so much.
(Indirect spoilers here) Cheating is not OK, call it what you will but if there is a change of heart, end the current relationship BEFORE exploring a new one, in one scene the female character just asks for a date in front of the current girlfriend .. really?!?! Just really?!?! And then why ohh why are others angry and/or disappointed? And to top it off the male character gets angry when the girlfriend reacts to the disrespect!! Things just shouldn’t have progressed that far.

The narrator was good and engaging.

Hook, Link, and Caught

if you like the Nuru Series you'll love this series. I find my self trying to compare the two and have to remind my self the lead isn't the same person. love it.

Best New Young Author Writers In A Long Time.

This author has specialized in creating a Parralal world to the one we live in now. Ms. Stvil is extremely creative in how she has creatived the Angels in comparison to the Biblical ones that we have read in her partial world out of her own creative writing.

Great potential but fell short

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

No because I'm not going to read the next book so I won't recommend

If you’ve listened to books by Lola StVil before, how does this one compare?

Fist one

What does Jennifer O'Donnell and Adam Chase bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love listening to books, I thought It was a bit odd when it changed but I adapted. I thought they did a great great job

Do you think The Girl needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No I'm good with just listening to this one

Any additional comments?

I wish the two main charters didn't just fall in love over one look 😕 and it went to the extreme for no real reason. If there was more substance to their love I would read the next book but as is it was too much.
