Wasn’t this supposed to be a romance?

The book started out great and I kept wanting to listen non stop. Some crucial parts felt rushed or skipped over. There was absolutely no mention of being physical other than a couple sweet quick kisses. I kept waiting for the physical action but there was none. There wasn’t much to the budding of the romance either, no building love story. There was more mention about affection between her and her maid than with him. I wouldn’t exactly call this a romance... if the author can add in more details and create a love story with a love scene I think she’d be excellent.
