Publisher's summary

The Weaver clan was growing. Not only was Arlan, Ma Weaver's oldest son and his wife about to have a baby, but Benjamin, one of her identical twins, was about to get his very own mail-order bride! Ma Weaver couldn't be happier! Sure, Benjamin and his brothers had been sheltered in the small valley where they lived most of their lives, and maybe they didn't live as fancy as some folks. But they still lived well, and Ma Weaver was determined her sons would marry well too.

Charity Cross discovers just that when she becomes Benjamin's mail-order bride and is introduced to the Weaver farm. But what the Weavers don't know is that Charity has a secret, something with the power to tear them apart if she isn't careful. The problem is, she has no idea how or what "careful" looks like. Not after what she's been through...

Love and Forgiveness

Having made my way through each of the audible stories of the Holiday Mail Order Brides, this one was the most serious and emotional and really touched my heart. If you have followed this series you know who the Weavers are, with wonderful Ma Weaver and her four boys. The dreaded twins in earlier stories, always up to mischief, and the other two Daniel and Arlan. Now it is Benjamin's turn, one of the twins, to have his own mail order bride. This is the best of families, hard working, living off the land and supporting each other through thick and thin.
Charity Cross has a terrible secret. Ben is enthralled by her and they marry immediately. But what is to come is a lesson in the strength to get through anything as Ben and Charity try to make their way with their new marriage.
Kit Morgan has written such a moving story, especially listening to in in audible with the amazing narration of Michael Rahhal as always. It truly pulled in all my emotions and left me anxious to see what would happen in the next story. Do not miss this book or any in this series. They have brought hours or entertainment and joy to my life.

Serious business

This was my favorite book of the series. Just because it's the crazy Weavers doesn't mean it can't get serious. Ma is a very wise woman, and she can tell when something is troubling her family members. You have to talk it out and listen and keep your heart open. At first it didn't seem like Benjamin and Charity suited at all, but it turns out, he was exactly what she needed. And so was this family that was so different than her own. I was surprised at how tender Benjamin was with Charity. Nothing like a wife to make you settle down!
