Publisher's summary

Her name was Mia. Rich girl, law school drop-out, smart, crazy sexy, and in over her head with me from the moment I rescued her on the side of a South Florida road.

She's going to require some delicate handling on my part. Maybe that's what challenges me about her. Her innocence.

She'll play my games. They all do. I train them, and they love what I give back. I need them, too, but only the sex; it keeps the nightmares away. I'm addicted to the game, to the action, to the control.

I'm good at what I do. I own a piece of Command Performance, one of South Beach's hottest sex clubs.

But no one owns a piece of me. Not the army. Not anymore.

Not even Mia. Not yet.

Jenna Elliot has been writing since she was a baby gator at the University of Florida. What started as sweet romances soon turned into steamy new adult novels. When she's not writing - or researching (wink!) - Jenna enjoys spending time with her adopted Basset Hound and cat, Sherlock and Watson, cooking new recipes from Pinterest, and binge watching Netflix. Her life goals include being a contestant on a game show, writing a book (check!), and conquering her resting bitch face. Jenna is a lover, not a fighter.

Absolutley Wild

What did you love best about The Club: Ethan?

Wow the banter and writing is amazing. The end was a surprise and happily so. Wow just wow

What other book might you compare The Club: Ethan to and why?

None really it was original. I loved that I had so many emotions that the story brought into it
This was a new author to me so I wasn't sure what to expect. When I was listening to the book, I went through a range of emotions surprisingly at one point I was thinking Ethan was a real jerk and Mia needed to say that not let him have his way. By the end of the book I loved that Ethan wasn't one of those dumb male characters that convinces himself submitting to real feelings is a bad thing. I loved the ending by the way and the fact that Mia wasn't a weak female character. She was intelligent and realistic.

What does Nick J. Russo bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He has the perfect narrative voice for the book and does the acting well. He was one of the best narrators I have heard yet.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did and I was glad I did. It was

Any additional comments?

This is a go to book that I will listen to over and over again because I loved it that much. Now I am on to the story of Ace.

You better have a fan at the ready................

The Club: Ethan is an extremely racy read: the first two-thirds of the book is basically about the two main characters having sex. This is not a complaint because Jenna Elliott can write some amazing sex scenes. However, the majority of the story comes in the last 2-3 hours of the book when Mia and Ethan finally begin to open up to one another. Ethan has suffered great tragedy and heartbreak in his past, and, although the author sprinkles clues to the cause throughout the story, it is only in the last chapter that we know exactly what happened. For most of the book, he seems emotionally unavailable and only interested in his sexual gratification, but we can slowly see him open himself to Mia as they further their sexual escapades. Mia is a daughter of privileged but completely cold and uncaring parents, and she begins the book by rebelling against everything that they have dictated for her life. She is spunky, outgoing and caring from the start, but she uses those qualities to hide a deep vulnerability and insecurity. For this reason, I wasn't sure that Ethan and Mia were a good fit, but I did enjoy the incredible chemistry between the two, and I ended the book believing in their HEA.

Nick J Russo's narration is fabulous. The book is told from dual point of view, so I wondered if the book needed a male and female narrator. Never fear, Russo handles both the male and female roles skillfully. His performance is flawless, and he made an already steamy story even sexier.

I received a copy of this audiobook at my request in exchange for this honest review.

Highly erotic

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
3 Blue Roses
5 Blue Flames
Genre: Erotica M/F
Highly erotic with little substance.

I am a regular Nick J Russo fan, but not even him could make it much more emotional than the physical entertainment of the sex scenes. The BDSM scenes were OK, but I wasn't able to connect to either of the main characters. Mia's character irritated me. I don't think I understood her. It doesn't feel like she deserves Ethan. I was happy to reach the end of this audiobook. Yes, it was a good HEA. I truly felt Ethan's hesitant motivation to be truthful. This produced a high for 1 minute post 6.5 hours of M/F erotica. Thankfully, the cliched airport scene was nicely done and may encourage other listeners to the follow up about with the next book about Ethan's friend; Ace the owner of the BDSM club.

Narrator: I am not squeamish to listen to a Nick J Russo audiobooks. I mostly listen to him in the LGBT genre, M/M. If I see an audiobook by an author I like, then I will definitely listen to Nick.

He has a good ability to do multiple voices in a dialogue between more than 5 characters and they are distinguishable. It's very easy to listen to the cadence of his voice.

Happy Listening.

Sex clubs don't involve love.

Two people with holes in their lives turn to each other and find completion. Lots of sex and dom/sub in this story with a happily ever after. I think the narrator has a great voice and did an excellent job. I voluntarily reviewed this audio book after receiving an advanced copy that I requested.
